That shower was slippery! They could add a rubber mat because I almost fell bad TWICE.

I loved the room, it was very nice and clean. The room was very updated and just super enjoyable to relax in. Also very close in the airport so I could sleep in as long as possible.

Never could get a hot shower, like warm at most, but that is after shower ran for ten minutes. Bathroom floor needs a scrubbing. Elevator doors almost crushed us a few times, they do not bounce back when they hit something. For some reason we were given a handicap room and the room door was like the elevator door and does not bounce back when it hits something and it’s extremely heavy and almost knocked us over a few times when automatically shutting.

The location and restaurant were perfect for our visit. The lobby was decorative and clean.

I was charged by the Hotel after we had booked and paid through Booking.com. Had to call and get refunded from the Hotel. The noise from the traffic a little too much.

The staff were excellent. The room was beautiful. You will expect a Porter to help with your luggage in an hotel of this caliber and price. You also expect some little finishing touches in the room for example biscuits and some selections of tea. Not everybody takes coffee .

We ate in our first night and had a good, reasonably priced meal. We were served attentively by the bar staff. However, on our second night the woman working in the restaurant was (a) pretty miserable and (b) took so long to serve us — I mean ridculously long — that we ended up ordering an Uber Eats and eating our meal in our room. In fact she took so long, that despite us never having previously used Uber Eats before, we managed to peruse all the options and menus, set ourselves up and then select our meal before she even turned up to take our order. When she finally came, we then explained she had taken so long our Uber Eats order was now already on the way. Reflective of her disinterest, she didn't seem bothered, let alone offered an apology for the time she had taken.

Pool area was nice given the location. Eating options were varied and of good quallity. The bar staff and gentlemen working during our stay was excellent. The location was good. The city centre was easily reached from the hotel, but The Marriot was a lot quieter than the downtown area and a lot cheaper. Plus didn't have to pay crazy valet parking rates in the city centre hotels. We were glad we had chosen to stay there for our 2 nights, rather than the hotels around the river walk.

first room was not even cleaned. bed not made and dirty towels still in the bathroom. second room was better. breakfast is served too late, not until 7am. should be at 6am so people who have early flights can eat.

The staff is always courteous and the hotel is clean. The breakfast staff on Thanksgiving day were very nice and helpful.

High school reunion was held here, perfect venue for our size.

I noticed the shower was not cleaned correctly when I checked in and saw. There was men hair in the shower that was not mine. I had to rinse the entire shower and double check before using. The bed was also not as comfortable as I expected. I could feel the bed frame/board underneath me.

The hotel was nicely remodeled, I enjoyed the view from floor 9, and I loved that the facility had a shop to purchase drinks, snacks, and food.

Client Service, room cleaning

The mimimun I expected when I arrived to my room is to be clean, with new tea and coffee, bed made. I had to report it and I only recieved an "appology". After a few hours I report it again and they only make notes. By casualty, other person from Marriot Hotel listened my reclaim she offer to help me.
