Real Bookers. Real stays. Real opinions.
Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1–10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We're currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate "subscores" in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

United States of AmericaTowel service was somewhat lacking as we only received three washclothes over the five days we were there. Also towels were limited but we survived. The door trim on the bathroom was missing on side of the door jamb. Shower water pressure was weak but there was plenty of hot water.
Breakfast was good, usually eggs, bacon and biscuits plus usual toast, bagels and muffins. Staff was friendly and helpful. Just a block and a half from National WW II museum. Easy walking distance.

CanadaAs I said above, the area *can* be a bit dodgy at times so as with the rest of downtown New Orleans, or anywhere adjoining the French Quarter, one needs to keep their wits about them. The first room I was assigned to was very small, like I could barely move around as one person, so be mindful of that when booking especially if you're booking for more than one person.
So the good parts about this property were that it's on St Charles so it's very close to the streetcar lines going both ways, and ride-sharing like Uber is also a reasonable option that doesn't take too long to connect with riders which helps because it's a central location. The hotel is also a good choice because the tours that go to plantations and swamps as well as other attractions do send buses/vehicles here (which is not the case with smaller or more boutique hotels). When I got to the room that had been assigned to me, there was a ladder and an open vent in it, and that the AC wasn't working, I told the person at the front desk. They were super helpful and immediately offered to change my room. The second room to which I was moved was much better and there was more counter space in the bathroom. Even though it can be a bit dodgy at times in the neighbourhood, it's a clean, well-maintained property. They also offer breakfast every morning which is included in the price of your stay, so that was a huge plus.

United States of AmericaThe closest parking lot is 40$ a day. Me and 4 other vehicles got our windows shattered overnight. Parking policy is "Park at your own risk." The queen double bed bathroom is extremely small. It was hot on one side of the room. Air filter needs to be updated.
The staff were friendly. The rooms were clean. The complimentary breakfast was nice and hot. The city view from my room. Very close to downtown area and restaurants. Near the WW2 MUSEUM.

EcuadorThe AC was a bit noisy but luckily the weather was nice and I could turn it off.
The room was nice and clean with a very comfortable bed. The breakfast buffet had good options. I also enjoyed using the gym and I like its location since I could walk to all the main attractions from the hotel and the area was quiet. The hotel is also located very close to the Airport Express bus stop, which is very convenient.

FranceOne of the two windows of the room was not equipped with a blackout blind, as well as the window of the bathroom which is a bit annoying because this room overlooks a busy place (Harmony circle). We regularly had problems with the demagnetization of the room keys, requiring trips to the reception. The breakfast was correct, in self service with disposable cutlery and plates only. Classic dishes would have been appreciated. The customers had to clear their table after breakfast, so the tables and the dining room were a bit dirty at the end of the service.
Rooms were comfortable and staff was available and helpful. Location is great, close to the French Quarter.
