The breakfast was fresh, filling and delicious. Our room was clean, if a bit on the small side.
We didn't realize when we booked that our hosts had little English speaking help and the language barrier was a bit of a problem at times.
Every one was friendly and helpful though and the courtyard was beautiful!

Stayed their for only one night as we were picking up a cruise the next day. Everything was good and the service was exceptional. As two senior women travelling I was very happy that the resort provided a wonderful person to pick us up at the airport and then he took us to the cruise port the next morning. I would definately stay their again. Also we arrived late evening so most eating places were closed so the owner made us an amazing pizza. This was a wonderful jesture as we were both tired from a long travel day and just wanted to relax. This was much appreciated.

Bahia Principel Bougainville adult only resort was a very comfortable reasonably priced resort. Like the concept of a large “load” activity pool and equally large a quiet pool both serving good drink selection.
And service. The food was very good in both buffets and a la cart restaurants.we like the Bahia app through which to easily make reservations for restaurants. IF you are a golfer the PGA Ocean course was great!

La Romana is a town with lots of shopping malls, heavy traffic, construction sites so quite noisy place.
Getting around is difficult unless you have a car.
We enjoyed the stay inside our accommodation, did not see much of the town.

I don't give a damn if the hotel is compliant with the green idiots! I wanted someone to help me get a comfortable mattress topper, to no avail! Maybe they should invest in hiring people speaking English
the staff was very helpful. nice room food and service. staff went above and beyond to make sure I felt comfortable. I don’t drink alcohol and they made sure I felt comfortable and got me virgin drinks. food was so good at all the restaurants. and out of all the Bahia principe resorts I’ve been to, this was one of the best ones entertainment wise. which I was surprised because I would expect more out of the punta cana ones. will be coming back.
Very clean, alive is much better as on the photos here, cozy and comfortable. The bed was comfortable too , there is a little terrace , opportunity for a parking, very hell apartment and for one person absolutely enough. And one more time - very clean, I will book again if I need. A washmashine is there too (normally not often to be there in a lot of such apartments in La Romana)
Simple and clean budget Hotel in the heart of the busy city of La Romana. Equipped with a comfortable bed, shower with warm water, aircon, fan, TV and private parking. Staff is very friendly and helpful. WiFi is free of charge and working well in the room. Credit cards accepted. There is a little corner shop next door.
Very nice property just renewed, very clean. There are two pools in front of the bar where you can enjoy good drinks. The restaurant food is great, real Italian meals… one of the best carbonara in my life. Excellent hospitality, very nice and friendly people. Will be my first choice if I’ll come back in La Romana.
We were upgraded to Bahia Bougainvillea. So the review will be about this hotel.
Rooms, service, food, drinks, activities all was great.
Concierge Gabriel and guest service Katarina were really helpful and professional.
French restaurant is extraordinary. Service and food are like in expensive restaurants.
The host was very friendly! She gave us some good recommendations for nearby restaurants. The bed was comfortable and there was everything we needed for cooking. I liked that the host let me use their nearby hotel when I needed to work, which had much faster wifi! The smart tv in the bedroom was also nice.
The owner is very professional, accommodating and kind. When I was checking out, we had a 30 minutes conversation about the hotel, the area, the beaches and my experience staying at the hotel. For me, it is worth every penny, the breakfast was a delight and it is a real El Dorado.
The apartment is cute, clean and comfortable, and anita was the best host we could have asked for. She mane our check in easy an de gave us the best tips to enjoy our stay.
Will book this place if we go back to Romana.
Si visitan Romana, este apartamento es perfecto.
This property should be taken off your web page. They over book and send you to another hotel in a very sketchy part of town. You are ask for cash to stay there with no receipt. Seems a scam to me and you have no alternative you need somewhere to stay overnight!
Enrique was a great host and very amicable.
The hotel is located near a beach (several minute walk) which also has some great restaurants with a variety of cuisines.
The pool and rooms are quite nice.
There is a Netflix subscription which is great!
The structure is very beautiful. It recalls the atmosphere of Greece and the Caribbean together. The family that runs the hotel is very close. The food is Italian and therefore very good
Worst experience ever. Host didn't provide address of unit and NEVER responded to messages!!! Directions link on google maps takes you to an empty parking lot!
