My stay at Blue House Gerasa was delightful, with friendly personnel, a great breakfast and cozy communal spaces. Plus, the complimentary coffee and tea in the kitchen were a thoughtful touch.

I really had a nice stay. The host waited for me outside the apartment, and he was really nice and helpful. My room was big, clean and with a good standard. The kitchen was well-equiped, and I could wash my clothes there for free. It was just ten min. walking to Jerash city center, and 5 min. more to the Roman ruins. I really could recommend these place!

The room is basic but clean and very comfortable. The little things like nice towels and great water pressure really put it above what i expected for the price. The hotel (small - 4 rooms) looks out on some ruins but to get to the entrance it takes about 3 min by car - so the location is great. We opted to have dinner at the hotel for 10 JO. We were glad we did - it was AMAZING. Everything was just delicious!

The apartment itself is great. Very big with a huge outside area and small pool. Really nice place to relax and well stocked.
The communication from the owner was great and he gave us lots of tips on places to go

Perfect for a day and night trip (like arrive in the early afternoon and leave the following late morning). In addition to the Roman city within Jerash there are other nice spots to the north (just south of the border with Israel and Syria), reachable by car, that are definitely worth to visit.

Jerash is much smaller and quieter than Amman.
Jerash is much smaller and quieter than Amman. But you will get to meet people like the operator of the 511 grocery or other markets, the owner of the property, and people say hello all the time. A short trip to Ajloun and you see a Byzantine castle. In between is Souf, a small town with many shops. A wonderfully quiet part of Jordan, and the Roman ruins are the best outside of Pompeii!

The ruins were spectacular.
The ruins were spectacular. I thoroughly recommend taking 3-5 hours for them. The area is also a good getaway for North Jordan. You can enjoy cheap local food in Jerash. I found a nice shawarma place 5 minutes walk from the ruins. It was called: داريا للمطاعم جرش

Jerash archeological site is huge and worth visiting, spectacular views, whole streets with columns, temple of Zeus and Artemis. Probably more interesting details could be received from local guide, but all explanation posts are in place. Take 2L of water per person, especially during summer time and ignore local mercenaries inside. Comfortable shoes and clothe for 2-3 hours of walking recommended

when you go to Roman ruins be ''carefull'' (like everywhere) for people which are inside and selling various stuff - they are ''hunters'' and prepaird to pull out even only 1 JD :) but on the other way if you don't have guide you can ''use'' one of them for cheep money.

Jerash the hisotry park: if you have any real interest in Roman architecture, reserve the whole day to appreciate everything the huge park has. More to see than Petra on a smaller footprint. Make sure to view the museum. Good coffee shop and nice staff there. We didn't do anything in town.
It is more of a guest house than a hotel. I think that most of the family live in the building and the "hotel" portion is a side apartment consisting of 4? rooms with a large common space and kitchen. Very comfortable and the family was very friendly. They will provide dinner for you if requested but I am not sure about breakfast. It was Ramadan during our visit so maybe the breakfast was only not available for that. The location is in a quiet residential area with plenty of parking. Quick drive to the Jerash roman ruins.
The staff was very nice and treated us well. It is well located, just next to the archeological site of Jerash. The breakfast was decent, and the dinner was yummy (although a bit expensive for what it was). The room was also very well decorated and comfortable.
For the price, you get what you would expect. A lovely room (although they didn't give us a room with the view even though there were maybe only 5 people in the whole hotel...), a decent meal, and an overall comfortable space.
I have a wonderful stay. The best thing about this property was it’s host. They make you feel as you are part of their family, they gave you care as their own kids….I am yet to see such a hospitable host. I will recommend this property to foreigners especially, so they should have a close view of Jordanian and Muslim family culture….
Location of this property was perfect and meals prepared at home delicious as well as affordable…
One of the best stays during my month-long trip to Jordan. Formerly an artist's house, it is quite relaxing. Although Naim speaks just little English, he's very hospitable, he brought us orange juice and local sweets every day. Habib speaks English, quite well for his age, if you need information. From the roof terrace, you can see the ruins. There's a kitchen with water dispenser (hot and cold), microwave, fridge and stove.
A trip with a friend
I came to Jerash on the recommendation of a friend.
It was only after walking through the historical sites that I felt like I had gone back to ancient times.
A hotel with a wonderful view of the sunset sky and historical sites.
It's close to historical sites, so it's good for sightseeing.
I was touched by the kindness of the abou tunis staff.
The room was also upgraded so I had a comfortable stay.
The location of accommodation is very convenient and very easy to find with free parking on the street next to the house. The owner and his son were very very friendly and welcoming, caring for their guests. No problem what time you arrive. The apartment is spacious and comfortable, with wifi. It is not a 5 stars hotel but I think it is a very good value for the money for travelers.
Family guest house in direct neighbourhood of the Jerash complex. I booked a room just for myself and got a big room where 8 people could easily fit in. Free parking next to the hotel. Tasty breakfast on the veranda under the grapevine. The owner does his best to make the stay even better. Clean bathroom.
The place is close to the archeological site. The apartment is big and comfortable, with a big bathroom and kitchen. Also, the body and his family are amazing - friendly and helpful. I highly recommend to stay here for a night or a few, if you're in Jerash.
Lovely little oases in Jarash. Staff were great and it was a pleasure to stay at the Blue House. We had dinner at the Blue House and were served absolutely delicious traditional Jordanian food. We could not have asked for more. We will definitely come back.
Great homestay style accommodation in Jerash. Terrific place to base ourselves for touring around Jerash and to Umm Qais. Easy parking, plenty of room, very clean and our host really looked after us. Welcomed us with a cup of tea when we arrived.
Room super clean, very helpful and friendly staffs. Located at quiet and safe area, easy to find parking, not far from market and restaurants. Thanks to Abu Tunis for upgrading the room. Recommended to stay there in Jerash.
The accommodation is excellent, very comfortable, the staff is excellent, wonderful, and very friendly. I highly recommend it, and the tour was wonderful. I advise everyone to book a Jeep Tour from the hotel
Basic place to stay beside the historic Jerash site which you can see from the window of the hotel. It's got more of a hostel vibe to it than a hotel with a shared kitchen.
