This was our 4th stay here at the Argo. Everything at the apartments is excellent, even the car park is clean! The staff are always super friendly and helpful. The staff called and let us know the room was ready early if we needed it and on arrival we were given a complementary ocean view room. The location is perfect, 5 min walk to restaurants, shopping and the beach.
We will only ever stay here when we come to Wollongong!

Wollongong has come a long way. It is very clean, the shore line offers lots to see and do. The shopping is great and ofcourse you have the stadium. Near by on the coast roads - great pubs to stop and have a bite to eat in and some of the outskirt towns are very quaint and worth seeing.

I love this city and have lived here (in West Wollongong) for 6 years. To stay in the city itself after just selling my house, has been a wonderful opportunity to enjoy the endless city, restaurants, bars etc. alongside walk easily to my daily North Wollongong esplanade walk.
If you have never been to Wollongong, please know that it’s worth it and why I have always wanted to live here and intend to continue to do so. A beautiful coastal city with diverse and beautiful people to match.

The weather wasn't good to us, poured with rain for 4 days, but we did a lot of sightseeing aswell. There was a great place to eat for breakfast which was one block over from the apartment and a 5min walk called Bucks Cafe. The owners were lovely and the food soooo good! The Imperial Hotel in Clifton, we went there for lunch, very impressive. Went down to Kiama, very pretty coastal town and viewed an amazing blow hole . Trains were easy to catch. We hired a car, which was really good, but we caught a train easy enough back to Sydney CBD. It would have been lovely to walk the beaches, but the weather didn't permit it. A few good Op shops in the area if you are into that, aswell.

Area I stayed in was OK.
Area I stayed in was OK. Couldn't find a big restaurant / bar area. Scenic views included a great view of chemical plant and refinery. Look in estate agent windows and could not see why people are paying $4M to be that close to them. Steamers nice, but don't pay their prices for a steak. Marble&grain 300m away-better quality&price.

We were there for a hockey tournament so we didn't get to see much of Wollongong. Also there was an extreme weather event while we were there so we couldn't get down to the waterfront in the time we had available between games.
I didn't realise this was within a pub so we were a bit worried when we pulled out but it was actually a super nice pub and very convenient, so we could have a feed and few drinks before the wedding we had to attend! A little bit out of the main part of Wollongong, but only like a 5min uber so it was great. Very clean, very nice hotel. It was great.
The location was great as it is across from Coniston Station. The average Uber price downtown was around 10 to 12 dollars which was great with only a 10min wait. The room was very clean and looks to have been refurbished recently. When I come back to visit I will definitely be staying at the Conistan Hotel again.
Beautiful water views, cross the road at the back of the hotel and you're on the foreshore walkway a few hundred metres to Flagstaff Point lighthouse. Room was very clean with a kitchen sink, microwave, and dinning table. Windows had shutout curtains to block light. The reception staff was very courteous.
A very nice hotel, nice room with balcony with partial view of the ocean. Convenient parking and lift to room. Very helpful and friendly man on reception. Nice bar at ground floor. Excellent proximity to WIN Stadium, and Jasmine Rice restaurant just around the corner ! Highly recommended.
Travelled to Wollongong for daughter's wedding. We and our friends occupied 9 apartments, and our experience was excellent. Staff were helpful and friendly. Easy walking distance to the beach and hood restaurants. Rooms a good size and well appointed. Easy parking on site.
We asked for an ocean view room and got a view of the golf course as a bonus. Everything about the hotel and the location was great. Best place we’ve stayed in Wollongong to date. If you get up early you can get stunning photos of the sun rise over the ocean
I must say that Wollongong Serviced Apartments are great. They are located only two blocks from the main shopping street and just a 10 minute walk from the beach. The apartment is big enough for two and you can park your car in the basement.
I'm from Wollongong and visit a lot. There are better apartments to rent. Location was good. Had good kitchen items. Toiletries were good, razor and cream, toothbrush and sample size toothpaste, cotton buds and rounds, shower cap
My group and I booked 4x2BR apartments. Everyone absolutely loved their stay! Very central location: 6min to the athletics track which was the purpose of our trip. Facilities were GREAT. Awesome to have a bathroom per bedroom.
beautiful! so warm and welcoming, it wasn’t just accomodation you were made to feel right at home. was a perfect getaway for me, kids and our dog. very pet friendly, clean and great location. can’t wait to go back 💞
Secure parking, large enough for our 4wd. Walking distance to shops, restaurants & the beach. Comfortable bed. Quiet location & quiet complex of apartments. Very helpful owner. Bin emptied every day. Large bathroom.
I live in Sydney and when I do travel to Wollongong this place is my go to
I just love the cabins and how close everything is to and from the location
Will definitely always go back with my family
Friendly, helpful staff, especially the manager. Even though the hotel is a busy pub on the Princes Highway there was no noise from either. However, we could hear plumbing in the adjoining room.
Bed was SOO comfortable.
Think I'll design my bathroom renovation in line with the motel bathroom. Excellent.
Close to All facilities.
Hotel restaurant next door and good value.
