Big room, yoga mat (really appreciated), friendly staff, toilet separate from bathroom, delicious breakfast selection (à la carte).

The hotel is positioned in a nice area, green and dog friendly. The common spaces of the hotel and restaurant were very pretty, parking available, kind staff. The room had a little balcony which was a nice surprise. Good, thick curtains, covering nicely the windows, so that the light didn't bother us in the morning. Nice personal kit in the bathroom, unfortunately only one for 2 people!

The place was super nice. Arround the hotel there is a mountain and birds were singinf from the morning. It was super interesting experience that I have got from there.
Opened in June 2016 and set in Kufstein, 300 metres from Kufstein Fortress, the newly built arte Hotel Kufstein boasts a sun terrace and ski storage space.

At 09:00 🕘 pm we had a drink on the pitch dark terrace of this ****hotel. At 10:00 pm 🕙 total blackout outside. Room is sober, wall to wall carpet with stains, mini bar missing, curtains torn, mirror in bathroom missing, box for tissues on the floor, aso. The WiFi system was the worst I ever experienced. Not professional.

I like the atmosphere of the old town and the town's central location for cheap day trips to Innsbruck, Salzburg, Munich and even South Tyrol (Italy). It's also a good starting point for hiking and climbing in the surrounding mountains.

The city is quite small but has lots of activities to explore. My favourite one was going up with the Kaiserlift and doing some hiking up the mountains. Up there you can also find some nice cafes/restaurants to have a nice break and continue with exploring the nice outdoors. The city itself is quite nice and one could walk all around it in one day or so. The public swimming pools are also quite nice if you go with family and friends to enjoy a bit the weather.

Beautiful city.
Beautiful city. Although there are no ski lifts in Kufstein, there are good transport links to nearby skiing areas. The local buses to ski areas are free for skiers/snowboarders, but this is not widely advertised and it appeared that not all bus drivers are aware of this either, as on our first ski outing to Thiersee we paid for the bus fare despite wearing ski clothes and carrying skis and snowboard.

I visited Kufstein briefly on a day trip 2 years ago and I vowed to return for a longer visit. I only stayed 2 nights and this was too short. It is so beautiful, the castle fortress is wonderful and there are lovely shops in the town.

Nice, quiet little city. Very good starting point to hiking.
Nice, quiet little city. Very good starting point to hiking. If you want to go nearest city - Salzburg,Innsbruck,München - then easily access with train, about 1 hour. If you want go Salzburg buying the Bayern ticket - cheapest train price.
Very good location. 5-10 min.from train station on foot. New and fresh furnishings. Everything very clean. Electronic key and door code for all doors. So, good for late arrivals. Thanks to Simone for the excellent service and helpfulness, and the permission to leave luggage until departure time in the evening.
Please ASK for the KufsteinerlandCard when you arrive at the hotel. It includes the gratis Kaiser Lift and some other great advantages! We asked too late and missed Kufstein Fortress for free.
We stayed one night at the apartment and had a wonderful time. Michael and his wife were friendly and accommodating. The apartment is big, comfortable and spacious. Everything was meticulosity clean, superbly outfitted and we had a huge balcony and a lot of privacy. Truly a great choice for staying in Kufstein and incredible value for money. Would love to come back!
Hosts are really kind and helpful. The cleanliness is unique, the whole interior reveals a special attention for all of the tiny details. Quality is the most important aspect of all equipment. (e.g. Coffee maker with coffee grinder.) We come back.
(After half past eight only the Greek restaurant has kitchen nearby, but it provides exceptional quality, too.)
Breakfast was absolutely perfect. The location is not bad but 20 minutes to the city center by walking. Just in front of the hotel, there is a bus stop every 20 minutes I guess busses operate to the city center. Only 5 to 6 minutes walking distance from the bus stop to the Soll ski area. And last, the hotel restaurant is perfect to dine in.
This is a fantastic little "automated" hotel located right in the center of Kufstein, next to a bakery and a supermarket too so no big deal that they don't have breakfast. Super clean and well-equipped rooms and common area. This hotel was honestly a delight to stay in, I wish they had branches in every city.
I could store my bike in the ski room. Be sure to take the left elevator, that one is bigger and will fit your bike.
The hotel is located in the city center. Several restaurants shops and a supermarket are in walking distance.
The castle and river are just around the corner. Very nice for a quick walk
The location of this Hotel is close to the center of town, and features a beautiful view. The room had a nice balcony, and sufficient kitchenware to cook simple meals. Concierge at the hotel was helpful, and accommodated us when asked to. Having laundry as an option is also great.
Perfect little hotel for a stop over on a longer drive. The room was excellent, comfortable beds and great bathroom. Eve though the hotel is directly off the motorway, the sound of passing cars and any outside traffic noise was minimal at most. Slept great, felt great.
Was happy to find free parking 15 meters from the hotel entrance - I got lucky and it was a weekend which means free parking there anyway. The second receptionist went out of her way to give the second, wrongly charged amount back asap.
I liked everything about my stay - the location is perfect, just 10 minutes walk from the train station and in the heart of Kufstein. I had a wonderful castle view from my room. Very friendly and helpful staff, nice breakfast.
Platzhirsch Kufstein was delightful. The owners and staff are so friendly and helpful. We highly recommend the breakfast add on! There were so many personal touches, little gifts from the owners, that made this stay a 10/10.
perfect location near the Festung fortress and the best Kebab-Döner in town at the angle of the bridge (continuous line of local customers) / modern bathroom in a historic building / nice staff / decent breakfast
It was a place to sleep and have a (very basic) breakfast. The "you get what you pay for" saying does not seem to apply here, much less serviced than what you'd expect from a place that uses the term "hotel."
The description of the hotel is accurate. Rooms are spacious and downtown is a short walking distance down to the river. The breakfast staff was very friendly and helpful. The wifi signal was strong.
Buffet food was well presented and of a high quality, eggs are cooked to your liking. Room was well appointed and very comfortable, the hotel is located close to the central mall and train station.
The quiet, comfortable and uniquely original tower suite in which we stayed.
The very good traditional Austrian cooking, and the equally good and extensive wine list, in the hotel's restaurant.
The hotel is located near Skiwelt as well as several shops in Kufstein so it is a convenient base for a ski holiday. It has a small kitchenette. Parking is right at the building.
The hotel and the staff were top notch. Professional and friendly. Elegant but very relaxed. The breakfast was spectacular. The rooftop sitting area was a delight.
Ideal location very much in the centre of Kufstein. Lots of bars and restaurants within a couple hundred yards of the hotel. Staff were very friendly and helpful.
