Watamu is a place to be..
Watamu is a place to be..I enjoyed my stay,i walked on the beautiful white sand beach.I enjoyed music at Mkoko bar and restaurant near Mapango beach. Watamu has lovely people, tourists are so safe its unreal. Large Italian population and visitors, so most hotels and resteuraunts are italian owned. Best place to eat and the most jawdropping view is from Ocean Sports.

Watamu as such is lovely with a few good public beaches.
Watamu as such is lovely with a few good public beaches. Restaurants are galore and most really good, although mostly expensive. Among the coastal towns I visited in Kenya and Tanzania, I have come back to Watamu most often. The water is crystal clear, the beach white and not overrun, and the area offers enough activities to not get boring.

All the infrastructures (rooms, swimming pools and areas of common use) are kept very clean. All the staff is always kind and efficient, starting from the front desk and continuing with cleaning staff, waiters and beach attendants. Special thanks to Miss Denise, Deputy Director, for her continue dedication, her kind support to all clients and her great suggestions for several excursions that made this holiday truly unforgettable.

The owner Reimond is very friendly and has lots of local tips and can help you organize tours, transport and more. The communcal area is very social and it's easy to meet fellow travellers here :) Highly reccomend this place to anyone staying in Watamu!

While the rooms generally do face the sea, some are partially blocked by the palm trees. I enjoyed the beach. The hotel has arguably the best beach in Watamu.
