The location of the hotel is great! It's like you're in a fairy tale!
The staff is very polite and we were offered to upgrade our room!
Breakfast was not very big but tasty.

We stayed in Muotathal to do the hike in the Hölloch caves, which are not far away. The hotel was conveniently located and very comfortable - and if we would decide to visit the area again, we would have no hesitation in booking at the Gasthaus Post again.
Claudia and the team were friendly and helpful. And the breakfasts and dinners we had at the hotel were very good.
We also travelled with our dog, who felt equally comfortable in the room!
Heaven on earth! There are so many options of hiking routes and cycling with picturesque angel at every corner of the town. There were Ski Lifts to take further up the mountain and the experience of that is worth considering.

Fantastic location with the best views imaginable.
Fantastic location with the best views imaginable. Staff were warm and friendly and keen to help. Breakfast was delicious with plenty of selection and ingredients were excellent. Everywhere was clean and there were plenty of seating area's, especially sun loungers. Spa was very relaxing and not too busy during our May stay, in fact the hotel was surprisingly quiet.
Got a free upgrade from room with a view to room with a balcony.
Highly recommend a stay here, a real gem of a place.
Only possible negative is that as Brits we did missed having tea/coffee making facilities in the room, but that is barely worth mentioning as overall the hotel, facilities and views made this a must return location.

We stayed above Stoos at the Gipfelstock hotel (amazing experience up there!), and not directly in Stoos. We did hike down to Stoos and spent time in town, the town is quite sleepy and small and we did not think there was much to do and see directly in town, the restaurant we ate at was overpriced (even for Switzerland) given the quality of the food (sorry forget the name of it, but it is the first one you come across when walking into town from the funicular and is open 365). I imagine it may be more of an exciting town in the winter season and once the new modern hotel is complete. It is a good base for hiking in the area.

Stoos used to be peaceful but modern imo Ill thought out development has changed this place from a haven of peace to an overpriced resort that has lost its charm. It’s still got great walks and views but the get away from it all and unique ambience has been lost.
Highest point of all the hotels and vacation homes on the Stoos - so great views!
Very clean, cozy room (bunk beds are normal here), very clean and modern looking bathroom.
Breakfast selection was okay - all very fresh and well presented.
Very good food from the restaurant - standard kids menu but with extremely high quality (best/freshest chicken nuggets I have every tasted!).
We had a lamb dish the one day and were blown away!
Beautiful location, scrupulously clean and so very comfortable! Our room was in the Guest House, an annex which is a one minute walk to the main building; we would recommend this to travellers looking for a great experience on a budget.
All the staff at the hotel were extremely friendly and helpful, the breakfast buffet was amazing and the spa area was impeccable; we would definitely stay here again if we were to return to Stoos.
Great to be able to stay in the mountain town up at Stoos, it means you can relax and take it all in instead of going up and down in a day. Friendly and helpful staff, chilled vibe and pleasant outdoors area to have a drink etc as well as comfortable bar lounge area inside. Breakfast had a good range with some made to order options too.
Loved the hotel, wonderful amenities, room was spacious, beautiful view, well-equipped and extremely comfortable. The area is beautiful, you're right next to the stoosbahn, the spa is a wonderful place of relaxation and the restaurant has excellent selections and salad buffet.
Can't wait to return.
The hotel room was clean and extremely comfortable. It had a visually appealing aesthetic and a pleasant ambiance. The bed provided a high level of comfort, ensuring a good night's sleep. The room was well-maintained and spotless. The space was spacious and inviting, allowing for a relaxing stay.
Location, clean, the view, the quietness, the great taste for how the entire hotel is designed. The staff is very friendly and professional. The breakfast was excellent, I appreciate the choice of lactose-free and vegan milk, like oat milk, which is very considerate to people lactose-intolerant.
Fantastic experience. We booked at short notice. Because the reviews were good we had quite high expectations. But the experience even exceeded those expectations. Superb dinner and breakfast. Really welcoming team. Lovely small hotel. Great location in Stoos.
The room was nice and clean for a solo traveller it fits anyone's expectations. The breakfast was as good as most other 5 start hotel breakfasts and the location was very good. By far i would like to thank the staff the most as they were exceptionally nice.
It’s at the top of mountain we super extremely beautiful view, and everything is clean and workers are welcoming. The hotel is by itself on top of mountain, so once you check in you need to stay the full day at hotel.
- Beautiful view
- Amazing fitness
- Hotel decor
- Sparkling and cold water 24/7 free of charge
- Hotel location
- Noise isolating within the hotel
- Perfect temperature and pressure of water in the shower
Everything was great, we had a wonderful stay. Great location, super friendly and nice Hotel Staff. Good variety of food for breakfast and for dinnner. Great wellness area. I would recommend the place!
It is a wonderful boutique hotel, similar to a very nice bed and breakfast. It is very clean, has all the modern amenities and the owners are wonderful people and very gracious hosts.
Location was good and the hotel new and comfortable, important to consider that the only way to get into the hotel is with a funicular (around 25e round trip).
