The main building advertised is only for breakfast or dinner. The rooms are actually horse stables that have been converted into council estate look alike accommodation. It is very deceptive from the advert. The grounds are beautiful but the location of the rooms and staff attitude ( except for 1) was poor. Staff looked and talked about being over worked.
It is not child friendly as they make ni effort to warm up baby food and staff was very unhelpful except for one who saved the day and prevented our 25 month baby from starving especially as he has special dietary requirements.
Overall I won't recommend for families with young children for a stay. It is fine for a day visit but not for stay overs.
The staff at the spa and swimming pools were good but the day restaurant ( I think its called 21 or so were so awful).
You are better of going to a hotel.

Very helpful staff although they seemed a bit thin on the ground!

Note the spa gets fairly busy but it’s really very good.
Note the spa gets fairly busy but it’s really very good. Rest of hotel let down a little by insufficient attention to detail, eg check-in wasn’t great, housekeeping not prompt with extras and restaurant fully booked with a number of non-guests. Traditional room was excellent.
It’s an old hotel and quite spread out - be prepared for steps and slopes.
Everything was amazing. The room (more like a suite) was out of this world. It had a beautiful spacious feel to it, combining an oldy-worldy charm with modern facilities. First-class food, comfortable bed, superb spa and health facilities. I felt utterly relaxed after two nights at this hotel. All the staff were helpful and friendly and highly professional. I noticed little things they did.
great place, but it seems that the concept is more focused on people with membership, rather than guests of the hotel, which is ridiculous to me.
very clean and beautiful around, food is ok, breakfasts are the worst part.
i do not understand how they created such a little menu for breakfasts.
when you go to such beautiful places you expect more luxurious meals.
Host, Candice was very welcoming to my family on arrival.
We enjoyed a restful stay in Candices apartment. Very clean, bright and cheerful apartment on a quiet street.
This is an apartment I would certainly book again for stay over in Bagshot.
Thanks Candice.
