Absolutely amazing hotel/pub! Stayed one Saturday night and it was very entertaining. So much going on it was impossible to be bored! Even live music :)
Lovely weather so was able to sit out side, tables plentiful for everyone:)
Rooms perfectly fine and everything you need with comfy beds and large tv, coffee, tea etc. Meals at the hotel was really nice and lots of it. Great prices throughout. Large cocktails only 3.99 and the best 👌
Oh and lovely hot water for bath/shower.
I will be definitely staying again. Ps. Only a short drive to the beaches.

Stayed over for one night as we were going to a concert. Wasn't able to check-in till 3pm which we already knew. The man on reception called Riz was so apologetic but we were OK about it. Went out for food and drinks then returned to hotel just as Riz was finishing his shift. He immediately came back in the hotel carried our cases to the room we had booked but then showed us another room which was actually a suite with Jacuzzi bath and said we could have that room for the same price as the smaller room we had booked. He was so helpful and caring. Couldn't have asked for more. Breakfast was really nice although no bacon! Would definitely stay here again.

It's hard for me to write these negatives, but it's already caught up with me. My partner and I have been here several times. The apartment is very nice but lacks a lot in terms of cleanliness and supplies. I brought this to the owner's attention, he promised to fix it, but he didn't. We are very sorry, if this doesn't work next time we will try to look for something else. Maybe we'll try to go back and then I'll decide. This time it was really bad. The seat has not been cleaned since last year - ugly big stains. The curtains are covered in white stains - maybe milk? And stocks this time at zero. There was no washing up liquid, no soap, no shampoo, no kitchen roll and to top it off - absolutely no toilet paper. Just nothing. We had to buy everything. The clothes dryer was broken and the shoe rack was also broken. Very sad. We left the apartment with flu and fever because the heating was turned off, the boiler was locked. We bought a small electric heater, but it did not heat the apartment. Very noisy in the bedroom from the fan in the bathroom and through the closed window in the bedroom it was blowing so hard that it lifted the curtain. It was absolutely unbearable. We slept in the living room on a broken and dirty couch. I won't comment on what dirt was under it when we took it apart... :-(HelenaUnited Kingdom - 6.0Scored 6.0

This is a great place but 3 days is about right as many places are either closed or on reduced hours e.g. Captain Cook and Dorman? Museum. I went to Redcar and Saltburn for the other days which were very worthwhile. The Saltholme nature reserve is a great attraction and caters for young and old alike. The modern visitor centre gives great views of the large reserve and the numerous hides scattered across the enormous site give fantastic views of the many different birds. The visit to the Transporter visitor centre was fascinating but it would be great if they could repair the Transporter which would be a drawcard for so many people in the UK and beyond. Public transport is very reliable and frequent and the train travel to the places mentioned above was very cheap and quick.Venturi - 8.0Scored 8.0

Spent most of our time at an event at the university so didn't get to see much of Middlesbrough. Lots of places serving food but especially loved The Tea House, Grange Road with its large selection of teas and cakes. Loved the fountain and light display opposite the Holiday Inn too

On the second evening I stayed at this property the door was physically kicked off the hinges at half 1 in the morning by 3 drug dealers coming to collect an outstanding debt by one of the permanent people who lives there. The door wasn't fixed for 48hrs leaving the place completely open to anyone wanting to gain entry. The place is a dump and without doubt the worst experience i've ever had whilst contracting around the U.K. avoid at all costs.

We go down to the spa in the mornings the lovely guy at the desk is welcoming chatty and smiley. We haven't tried one of the breakfasts there yet,but will consider next visit. The rooms are always clean and the bed is so comfy you sink into it and sleep peacefully. Worth the money and will be going back again this year at some point.JulieUnited Kingdom

It was a bit of a challenge to gain entry but the directions given were precise and once you have the fob it is easy after that. Very secure for anyone especially females travelling alone. Great location 5 minute walk form the Riverside and 15-20mins mins to town centre. Definitely recommend and will stay again when working in area.
