Location, very pretty around the property and with beautiful surroundings - the river and mountains.

Beautiful setting, surrounded by mountains and water, hot breakfast, right in the town center, free parking on site, hotel restaurant pretty much open all the time till 9.30pm, no reservation required, decent dinner menu and food tasted good, the gentleman who checked us in and the lady who checked us out were very friendly and chatty but other staff were a bit cold
The hotel is close Rv9 but still very quiet.
It was nice to have a balcony and the staff in the hotel and especially at the restaurant was very friendly and welcoming.
The food at the restaurant was delicious.
It was a good place to stay for one night during our journey through Setesdalen.
One of the best hotel of our 14 night stay in Norway. The location is amazing, so beautiful, as well as the hotel. Dinner and breakfast were both of a high standard. Big room with a nice balcony. Fridge and water boiler in the bedroom. The staff is very nice and helpful. Highly recommended.
Great hotel, great staff. All were very friendly and helpful.
Great diner and fantastic breakfast.
Fantastic view behind the hotel at the water and mountains. We spent only one night, because we were travelling further north the next day.
The place is a Disney version of a Norwegian farm mansion, with the charm of an airport business hotel inside. Staff ranged from indifferent to rude. Food was good though.
Great location and friendly staff. We enjoyed dinner in the restaurant. Buffet breakfast was good, except for the coffee - although that seems common in Norwegian hotels.
