my ultimate happiness.
my ultimate happiness. I can stay there forever. all the quietness on earth is there. it is a very calm city for those who are looking for that. people are so friendly and respectful. it is the ideal place to connect with nature. Abudabbab beach is the best place there to swim, relax, and snorkeling. Porto Ghalib also is a very good place to eat clean and good food with almost daily entertainment shows and performances.

Masa Alam is a hot, dry and dusty town on the edge of the red sea. There is nothing there for tourists. I'm sure there is a restaurant somewhere. I stayed at my hotel and ordered food to be delivered. The only reason i was there was because thats where the scuba dive boat leaves from. Since then i found out the dive boat operator will pick you up pretty much anywhere, even Hurgada. See if you can find a place in Hurgada and have the boat operator pick you up there, or take a private taxi to Masa Alam.

While far away from Hurghada, the main airport, about 4.5 hours drive, the coast around Marsa Alam is clearly wilder here with with much more sea life than further north, so definitely worth it for a more 'water safari' experience.
For transfers, I recommend 123 Taxi & Tours Hurghada, a top taxi company with great prices, where you can arrange everything by WhatsApp before you travel https://www.123taxihrg.com/

Greatest place in Egypt for snorkeling/diving in my opinion.
Greatest place in Egypt for snorkeling/diving in my opinion. Very quiet city, and most resorts are actually away from the city so don't expect anything outside of your resort (check your distance). Most resorts provide what you'd need anyway. Perfect for people looking to relax or looking for boat trips. Tough to get to but worth the ride.

Upscale lodge with a cozy atmosphere. The perfect place to relax and unwind. Everyone was very friendly and professional. The food was great and the service even better. You don’t even need to leave the hotel if you’re just there for relaxation. There’s a lot of marine life around the marina, it’s a perfect spot for snorkelling. We had to ask for them to arrange our excursions but Mr.John was great and he always helped us out with everything. Would definitely recommend for your next trip!
Super new, nice clean property and apartment with many thoughtful touches you don’t always find in Egypt. We were pleasantly surprised to find an electric stove in the room, so we could cook some real food! The ocean view from our room (#10) was nice, as was the rooftop terrace. I like that they have fixed prices for transport to various beaches, mostly fair, (except that the trip to Sharm El Luli seemed a little steep). Staff were all exceedingly pleasant, and there’s a wonderful cat.
I had a wonderful experience at this hotel. The hotel is beautiful and the room is good and clean. The staff are amazing and courteous and very professional. They pay attention to every detail and make sure you have a comfortable stay. The food is delicious and there is a variety of dishes to choose from. I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone who is looking for a relaxing and enjoyable vacation.
We spent 4 nights here and we can't wait to come back. The peace, the view, the people, the dogs...
Everything is very simple and far from the resorts that are everywhere around Marsa Alam.
As we were trying to escape from chaos, staying at the lodge was just perfect. Karim is an amazing person, as everyone from the staff. The diving center is a plus, we loved going snorkeling at the coral reef.
New hotel with new equipment and good restaurant. We couldn’t snorkel 🤿 because of the windy weather, red flag 🚩on the beach. There is Abu Dabbab beach next 10 min driving from the hotel, where you can do snorkeling and diving. Another amazing beach, natural protected area, 1 hour driving from the hotel - Charm el Luli is very recommendable.
Exceptional. We stayed for 4 nights and we are fond of this place. The hotel is quiet and beautifully decorated. Our room was very spacious and squeaky clean. Most of all the owners are absolutely awesome. Fady, Karim and Mishu went out of their way to make our stay unforgettable and we can not overstate their kindness and generosity.
Our experience here was outstanding. When we got there, we had a confusion with the booking, which was our fault, and the hotel manager got out of his way to help us. He even offered us a romantic dinner at the beach to make our experience better. It is undoubtedly the best attention we have ever received in a hotel
I really liked that the hotel did not offer a buffet at all. There was the possibility to make a couple of choices for breakfast, but lunch and dinner were given. It was really delicious and great to have a full emersion with Egyptian food. The service was outstanding and the staff always friendly and forthcoming.
The price was not expensive. The owner provided us snorkels for free and shared personal hotspot while internet of the hotel was not working. Marsa Mubarak tour was well worth it (we paid 35 euro per person). The owner opened the door for us at 2 AM in the morning, we appreciate it.
The terrace is nice.
-Staff especially Mr amr (reception) Mr Ahmed (restaurant drink bar)
- early and fast check in
- breakfast they made for us before our trip outside hotel
- Food was very good and delicious
- Upgrade from normal room to room with jacuzz and sea view
My stay at Marsa Alam wouldn't be as awesome as it had been without Nathalie's help in taking care of everything.
I also LOVED the breakfast, it was beyond anything I've experienced in a ⭐⭐⭐ hotel before. It was really good!
Great hotel, cosy rooms with ample space. Manager is extremely friendly and helpful. Clean pool. Didn’t have sea view from the room, but there is a nice common balcony, where we had sea view coffees 😎 Highly recommended!
The place is nice and cozy. Rooms were lovely. Fast check-in. They gave us the best room in the hotel (at least that is my personal opinion). It was 1st row sea view and next to the pool and the restaurant.
Staff, sea,Team Helpfull,IT was a nice stay ,nice Design of rooms ,good good and service, the Hotel have Oriental Style with good Stone quality ,thabks for all the Management
Amazing hospital staff, very clean, fresh and new, absolute value for money. Very convenient location in between Marsa Shagra and Marsa Nakari (two very nice diving camps).
Although not a new hotel it was kept really well. Spacious room, clean toilette, very spacious restaurant with good food. Staff was really nice and available.
Stating with real Egyptian family run and owned business. Mohab and his father are awesome humble hosts that are friendly and keen to help in any way they can
