Ok I’ll admit that we did wonder where were when we drove up a stony dirt track which seemed in the middle of nowhere but this little house is a gem! We were very comfortable and the host was very helpful with communication. There’s a wonderful beach just 5 mins down the road and the neighbour was such a darling bringing us eggs and bread. If you want some peace and and a nice beach this is the place for you

The apartment was huge and exactly as it is seen in the pictures. The breakfast was a complete and pleasant surprise. It was not listed in the description or it was not in the options to choose. But everyday the family brought down our breakfast down to the room. It was simple Moroccan breakfast with bread, tea and cookies but it was delicious and hearty. Amazing traditional hospitality by them. Absolutely loved it. For lunch and dinner, make sure to go to this small place called o'pizza run by a wonderful family. It's very cheap, delicious and hygienic.
Very nice city and friendly people. Personally I prefer the quiet places. Unlikely Marrakesh, Safi is very quiet and nice city to discover and learn about in a week, you will be able to make friends easily and recognise the locals quicker. Also the beach and the areas around it is very close and the prices are very affordable.

Safi, Great little Medina, loads of shops, nice promenade but many of the main sights were closed for refurbishment.
Superb pottery, well worth an unofficial guided tour, but agree your price before you go.
Loads of artists showcasing their work.
Not much else to do but wander around the souk and potteries. Great for a 2 day trip, wouldn't want to spend more than 3-4 days there.

Friendly city.
Friendly city. There aren't too many tourists, so it's not for show - you just see people getting on with their daily lives. It doesn't have touristy markets and many restaurants, but there sure are places to eat (Chez Hosni!) and the pottery quarter is fantastic. 1-2 days are enough.

Safi, not my favourite spot in Morocco. Why?
Safi, not my favourite spot in Morocco. Why? Well, I just did not have a feeling with it. This does not mean you have to skip it! Just a few houres or one day is enough to see all the highlights in this city. If you go to the beach, definitly drink a juice or cocktail in the Wave & Chill bar.

There is nothing to see or do in Safi, and there are no good restaurants either. Therefore I would not recommend Safi unless you just want to relax and do nothing. But the people are good and I felt comfortable there.

Safi is an interesting city especially for the lovers of the ceramics.
Very different of the other Moroccan cities. Very traditional and without so many tourists.
I recommend to go to the beach, which is amazing . If you are looking for a nice place to eat , Chez Hosni is the best.
The bed is really comfortable, clean and with a perfect pillow. We arrived late around 11pm but the staff waited for us and reserved a parking lot near the entrance of the hotel. The apartment is near a main street but we didn't hear the noise and we slept very well. In the apartment there is a giant sofa, soft and perfect for relaxing. The shower is big enough and the hot water arrived immediately. For breakfast they gave us a lot of sweet and salty things.
A beautiful old Riad with a rich history, beautifully decorated rooms with lots of interesting antiques. The hotel employee, a very professional guidewomen, told a lot of history about the Riad, the city, the pottery traditions. Gave marked map with places of interest. A very nice, interesting, educated woman, respect. The cook prepared a wonderful tajine for dinner from the meat and vegetables I bought at the market. The roof terrace is simply amazing too.
I have stayed at this hotel before. My booking included a terrace / patio but my room didn't have this. The 1st room I was given the window was broken which meant that anybody from outside could potentially open the window and get into the room. I was given another room. No terrace, no balcony and no patio which is what I booked and paid for. Usually they give water bottles but I didn't get this or a fridge in the room.
Amel the receptionist/owner was very nice and friendly. She helped me find the hotel when I called her and even came to the main yard to walk back with me to the Riad. Also she explained a bit about the history of the city and gave me advice on where to go/eat. Very easy to deal with.
Staff is super friendly. It’s located at the heart of the city, close the pottery stores in the old Medina. The view from the room is amazing! Rooms are tight and cozy, nothing fancy but for the price they do the job (we were only spending one night there and out most of the day).
Great location, the view was spectacular. The pool was perfect. The food was very good. Great feel to the hotel, but the gem of the hotel is its staff. From the Chef, to the guide, to the manager, all of them were cheerful, helpful and caring.
Perfect location. Great views from rooms. Staff are exceptionally friendly and welcoming. Beds are comfortable (unusual for Morocco) and this hotel offers excellent value for money. Would come here again.
Outstanding experience! Impeccable service, modern and comfortable facilities, perfect location. I had a memorable stay and highly recommend this hotel to all travelers. A well-deserved 10/10 !
Very cute hotel, well decorated with a family vibes. The room was big and clean with a very nice balcony view.
The staff members were quite welcoming and helpful.
