The only reason to stay here was to get an early bus to the Quilotoa loop. Walked round and there were zero attractions to visit. Though not much to do in the city, it's nevertheless a convenient stop for accessing all the nearby volcanoes and lakes. The city has a potential, it needs a bit of tourism infrastructure to encourage longer stay rather than a quick passing through.

They were super friendly and accommodating and let me leave it. Staff was also helpful letting me know about bus times/etc. Breakfast was excellent, room was clean, and water was hot. The hotel is in a huge, old building with large windows, pretty architecture and grand staircases. The location is good in central latacunga. I would stay here again.

His cost was reasonable and he even organised a tour guide for us at Cotopaxi. That said, he wasn't perfect: he used his phone at the wheel and he laughed at others involved in a car crash, something we didn't appreciate.

We could drop our luggage here for 2 days to do the Quilotoa multiple day hike. The staff also helped with transport to get there. This was a bit of hassle because we arrived quite late, yet they made extra effort for us to make it work. Nice food, clean room, and excellent Ecuadorian wine. Thanks for a great stay!

He also helped with reservwtion my accommodation while on the hike, saving me a few dollars. The hostel is a 10-minute walk from the bus terminal. The showers were hot and the Internet worked really well for me. You can also store your luggage here while you complete the Quilotoa Loop.
