I so wish we had booked to stay for 2 nights instead of 1.
This guesthouse is in a restricted area, due to its proximity to the Palestine border. On arrival, go to the Visitor Centre and speak to the Police. They will issue you with a pass that enables you to pass the checkpoint and drive down to the guest house. Due to border patrols, you are not allowed to access the River Jordan at night.
There is ample parking and, currently, the whole area is very quiet. (However, the Catholics are building on the adjacent plot, so this might increase the number of tourists.) There were only half a dozen other people staying when we were there, so we almost had the residence to ourselves. Our room has comfortable twin beds and was utterly quiet.
We hadn't realised how far the guest house was from the nearest town and how difficult it was to access the site, so we didn't know where to get dinner. The cooks prepared food for the staff and they kindly provided extra, so that we were able to eat.
The absolute highlight for me was sitting on the terrace, watching the sun set over Palestine. It really was rather special and I didn't want to go in to bed.

Massive hotel resort build with taste (map needed, golf cart service to move around comes in handy), plenty of different areas to choose from and feel a bit more quiet.
Pools for kids and infinity pool for adults only (that was great)
Amazing experience in the Dead Sea.
Good breakfast buffet, fresh food and plenty of choices.
Staff were friendly and polite, we felt well taken care of.
Big room, comfortable, decor a bit outdated.
Boasting tree-lined outdoor pools overlooking the waters of the Dead Sea, the 5-star Kempinski features a private stretch of beach and a spa offering sea mud and sea salt treatments.

We got given an upgrade on arrival. That was very nice of them!
The breakfast buffet was huge & the wait staff at breakfast bring you over your own hot jug of water for coffee & tea.
The location was perfect, close to the mall. And the hotel it self was just divine.
It had 4 or 5 pools, beautiful views, easy access to the Dead Sea & towel hire service.
Would recommend! Thanks for having us.

This city was a city on the shores of the Dead Sea.
This city was a city on the shores of the Dead Sea. There were no places of entertainment for tourists in the city. Of course, being close to the Dead Sea has its advantages. There are many interesting historical sites in the vicinity of this city, which are definitely worth visiting, but since public transport is not available, be sure to consider the lack or inaccessibility of public transport to tourists. That is why it is important that you also rent a car before booking a hotel here, so that you can visit the sights in the vicinity of the city. We applied to a car rental company and were very satisfied with the professional service, and I would like to share my experience with you. If you would like to rent a car, I leave here the phone number of the manager Zaid, he is an expert in his business and will support you unconditionally for car rental throughout Jordan +962797918921

Dirty/not super clean, sticky surfaces, run down spa.
Dirty/not super clean, sticky surfaces, run down spa. The breakfast was not worth it. I would give it 4 out of 10 for cleanliness, 7 out of 10 for attentive staff, 8 out of 10 for pools and access to Dead Sea. Spa facility 4 out of 10.
But sunset over Dead Sea was 10 out of 10.
Don’t eat at the poolside Aqua Bar.

The town is quite dirty, there is plenty of rubbish on the streets. Options of restaurants is quite limited, although Beit Sweimeh is so good that ypu won't need anything else. Booking reccommended to not move around too much without the guide, although we felt quite safe even on the late evening walk.

The visit to Salt Beach was an exceptional experience for us. The beach was windy and the Israeli Border could be seen towards the horizon. The salt deposits look amazing and it is quite an experience to see the saltiest water body on Earth!

Great location.
Great location. Few meters access to the Dead Sead, free mud and shower facilities. There was the end of Ramazani and they have organized plenty of activities for the children ! The children really love it ! Great place for children generally ! The host very polite and professional, kept goodies for us in the fridge. Reasonable price taking into consideration the facilities, services and the location.
Big and luxurious location, a lot of space, nice common spaces both inside and outside.
Good value for the money in an area that has not many options excepting big chains hotels.
Staff was very helpful in communicating with us.
Tip: avoid the very close shoping mall - very big prices. Is better to have with you all you need as are not many shops/restaurants in the area.
We like the view over Death Sea up Jerihon.
The kitchen is fully equipped and big.
We came when the price was relatively lower than usual, so for the price we paid, it was good value for money. The room and bathroom were excellent, and the Seaview was breathtaking. And even compared to other hotels in the area, I believe this hotel has surpassed most of them, given the price, location and the sea view. When we left, the price almost doubled. If we paid double the price, we would have rated this stay way lower. So keep this in mind.
Great value for a hotel that is located directly on the Dead Sea. Beach attendant was phenomenal and got us sorted with a mud bath and salt scrub. It seems like most of the clientele were families from Amman and it had a very nice atmosphere. Breakfast was great and the buffet dinner looked like a good value eventhough we did not eat there. Pool area was very nice and clean. Building was very clean.
Beautiful hotel with hot springs, pools and waterfalls. Spacious and well decorated room, very clean and very cozy. Fantastic views! Tea / coffee available inn the room. Big restaurant with a great terrace and plenty of food for breakfast and buffet dinner. Pools available at any time. Very nice and helpful staff :) I would definitely recommend staying there!
The staff went above and beyond to help me, especially Ibrahim on reception who spent a great deal of time helping me top up my data package so that I could navigate back to Amman in the hire car. The room was spotless and it was a beautiful place to stay. I read in other reviews that the hotel is a little tired, but I did not find this to be the case.
We have been in some beautiful hotel, nice place and friendly host until now, but... but it is a Hilton.
Wonderful location. Perfection everywhere. Very friendly and nice staff. Amazing panorama. Very good restaurants. And has an own beach. Lifeguard helps, how to take a salty bath and made mud massage for us.
Very-very recommended hotel.
A shoutout to O Beach Hotel at the Dead Sea for their excellent service and breathtaking sea views! 🏝️ From the moment I arrived, the staff's hospitality was top-notch, making my stay truly memorable. 🙌
The stunning views of the Dead Sea from my room were absolutely captivating, providing the perfect backdrop for relaxation.
A huge hotel complex.
Our room was very spacious and with a nice view over the dead sea and the West Bank.
We made a mud treatment and we soaked in the dead sea, the private beach was not crowded.
We really enjoyed the sunset on the terrace and also the cats roaming around. The food was tasty.
Huge hotel, with 3 swimming pools and private access to the beach. The beach is clean, with easy access to mud, ans beautiful views. Everything is clean, and food is delicious. WiFi works well in every part of the hotel, including swimming pools and the beach. Definitely can recommend it!
Good location ,close to dead sea .
Comfortable place .
Spacious 2 bedroom apartment , very clean bathroom, sofas and beds .
Pools are marvellous .
Nice friendly host and staff.
Definitely, excellent price compared to the surrounding hotels .
I highly recommend .
Brand new with a spectacular view from the room terrace and lobby.
There is a mud and salt scrub station on the hotel beach which you can use anytime you want. There is a person who support you do the treatment properly.
Breakfast with a variety of choice.
Front desk was wonderful. They answered all our questions and made restaurant suggestions which we took. Had a great night stay there. Will go back to hotel if we return to the Dead Sea
Nice cheaper option in the village of Sowayma compared to the big chain hotels by the Dead Sea. Big rooms, balcony and pools (one for men and another separated one for women).
