The gentleman I met at the reception was very nice and helpful. The lady on the evening/night shift was okay, but she could be more pleasant.
The room was very clean, and the bed was comfortable

Located 300 metres above the Caribbean Sea, this luxury hotel features an on-site restaurant, an outdoor pool, and free Wi-Fi. It is 1.6 km from Maghans Bay Beach.
The hotel was close to the cruise port. It was a bueatiful backdrop. I was there for a short period, I just wanted to go somewhere different and I accomplished my goal. I was there by myself and felt safe. I caught several taxis, when to call a taxis, your taxis has people going other people going in the direction you are, and it’s per person. They’re not a lot of places to park. The streets are very busy.

I love Charlotte Amalie I was born and raised here.
I love Charlotte Amalie I was born and raised here. I relocated to the states years ago. My last visit was in 2018, and some of my family members still reside here.
I also stayed in Estate Solberg and the driving was nerve-wrecking up and down those steep small hills. Overall, I enjoyed my stay with family and the food.

The hotel seems like it was once really nice, but it seems dated now. We had to change rooms when we checked in, the floor was stained and the air conditioner was not working. We had to request room service daily, we will not stay here again.

The town is crawling with tourists when the cruise ships are in and much of the shopping has moved to a couple wharf-side shopping malls. There were some nice restaurants. We preferred St. John and St. Croix

Cajun style seafood was excellent!
Cajun style seafood was excellent! Escargots was a real treat as an appetizer. Had the shrimp and craw fish in bed of rice Seasoned creole style was not too hot and not too mild! Ambiance was appropriate for menu style.

My opinion is you should not travel to the Virgin Islands until they relax the rules on covid. At night, most of the bars, clubs, and restaurants are closed and the ones that are open, they close early. Basically I was walking around looking for something to do. If you're there to just go to the beach, that's fine but the nightlife there is a ghost town now during covid. Also you do not want to go shopping either. They are so desperate to get sales that everybody bombards you with trying to sell you something. Also a tip about buying alcohol, buy the alcohol at Kmart. That's the cheapest place to buy alcohol. Also if this is your first visit to St Thomas, be prepared because the customer service is not the greatest. A lot of the sellers are not very nice and I'm being kind. I'm not saying everyone but a lot have bad attitudes. I'm part St Thomian and I tell you this from experience.

I appreciated that the owners tried to spruce up an old hotel using fresh paint, plants and artwork to make it as cheery as possible. This is a basic, budget hotel with no amenities, but it still met our needs for an overnight stay. The room was nice and clean and the beds were comfortable. You can easily walk to restaurants and the main shopping areas as well as several of the sightseeing areas.
The location of this property is central - a walk away from the main area in Charlotte Amalie - you can easily walk to shops and restaurants within 10 minutes. The ferry terminal is a 10-15 min walk away as well. If you stay here, you do not need a car to access shops and restaurants, but will need a car to access the beach. The pool is of good size, which is good if you want to go swimming.
Convenient location not too far from the airport and within walking distance to restaurants, shops in downtown area and French town. Staff was nice and accommodating. Had a clean room with a waterfront view. Air conditioning was comfortable. Even though the island lost power this hotel has back up generator. Pool, restaurant and bar available on property. Storage available after check out.
Location! It’s top notch. Right in central downtown Charlotte Amalie, next to the historic Bunker Hill hotel, and close walk to all of the sites to see (like 99 steps and such). and like 3 min walk to Vendor’s Plaza where you can easily catch the public bus or public safaris to other areas on the island. and super nice and helpful staff.
The staff were super efficient and helpful. The location near the famous 99 steps is only 131 steps from the Main Street (I counted them). They have a decent swimming pool. I thought the hotel was far better than the booking.com pictures and description, they did not do it justice.
The hotel is very close to the airport, city center, and bars and restaurants; however, you have to take a taxi. The host was fantastic and arranged transportation for us. The owners are friendly, kind, and thoughtful. They will do whatever they can to make your stay easy.
It was a very nice quiet residential neighborhood on the mountain overlooking Charlotte Amalie. I liked that we had a private casita. Having a harbor view was also a nice bonus. Being able to walk to the local bar/restaurant was a plus as driving was unnerving for us.
This gem of a new hotel is an absolute stand out in St. Thomas. The staff is amazing and all the little touches around the property make it a little oasis of paradise! I’d encourage anyone looking for a great escape and great hospitality to book here :)
I did not have the opportunity to have breakfast at this hotel but the location was awesome. Being able to enjoy the sea view before work every morning and after work every evening was so relaxing.
An atmospheric & quirky hotel, perched high up on the hill, with splendid views over the bay. My room was at the very top of the hotel & was clean and comfortable. Bathroom a little elderly.
Arrived and the hotel told us there were no rooms and that they had notified Booking.com accordingly!
USD 140 WASTED ON TAXI FARES AND HAD TO FIND ANOTHER HOTEL AT SHORT NOTICE
It was cool that they bring breakfast around in a little picnic basket.
The location is pretty good, the property has really great views of Charlotte Amalie.
