We had a wonderful stay in An Creagán. Nollaig and Ciarán were so welcoming and the breakfast was gorgeous. The room with the sea view is particulary lovely. Great location near the village and the other direction it's beautiful open countryside.

Newly refurbished inside and it showed. Dining & bar were splendid, nice atmosphere. Fresh carpet upstairs, rooms were quaint but updated. Street front but quiet. Really enjoyed the stay. Staff were kind, talkative and attentive to detail.

This was a great stop between Galway and Limerick. I wanted to stay to have more time at the Cliffs of Moher as well. It is close. Also, you can walk to Doolin from the hotel and there is a beautiful walk up the hill from town.
The staff was wonderful. We felt very welcomed and at home. They left us a handwritten note on arrival.
They have great bathroom products and natural/local items available in the room and for purchase.
The food is also amazing! It is nice they include a breakfast. And it is not just any breakfast, it is great! Very happy and highly recommend this stay for multiple reasons.
In the heart of picturesque Lahinch, Shamrock Inn Hotel provides comfortable rooms and an inviting restaurant. Local beaches and the beautiful Clare coastline are a short walk away.

We have been traveling from Dublin, and after a long day at the cliffs of Moher, it was such a treat to arrive to some local hospitality and definitely the best dinner we have had since arriving in Ireland.
Wonderful staff, comfortable stay, and would definitely remember this little gem!
The Ritz House House is located in Lisdoonvarna town centre and is a family owned accommodation just a 10-minutes drive from the Cliffs of Moher, Doolin Village, the Aillwee Caves and Birds of Prey,...
A beautiful island well worth exploring.
Everywhere we went we were greeted with a warm reception.
Bars and restaurants offered a great variety of food and drink .
Very safe island to cycle or walk on do to low volume of cars , therefore an ideal spot for young families . A large well equipped playground and I spotted loads of family pets making the island ideal for anyone who love their furry friends and want them included .
The ferry trip is short from Doolin and free car park near the pier .
I will revisited again with family and friends and my little doggy . 😋

Can walk anywhere around the island (or hire bikes if that’s easier/faster for yourself). Lovely art display recently added along the walls by the lighthouse. Very creative. Can visit the shipwreck from the opening credits of Father Ted. All locals were friendly and happy to chat. Didn’t have time (or room in my belly) to eat at every food place, but the ones we did get to: Tigh Neds, Inis Oirr Hotel, Tea Rooms (little trailer outside Tigh Ruari’s) and the Crepe trailer by the beach - all the food was delicious!! Definitely take waterproof shoes and rain coat and a few extra pairs of warm socks, even in summer. The rain was on and off when I was there in July. Great family location! Playground with a variety of play equipment for all ages. Lovely Beach with life guards - locals were swimming, wasn’t quite warm enough for me though. Two nights would be better than one!!

A beautiful remote island. Rock walls everywhere.
A beautiful remote island. Rock walls everywhere. Biking around the island was lovely. See the ruins of St. Gobnait's church. Bike to the shipwreck. Climb to the castle ruins. Enjoy the solitude.

Love the Island.
Love the Island. It is far from all busy city lives and it makes you feel like you went back to an Irish village years ago. The beach is beautiful. Walks are great too. You can see cliffs of moher across the sea from a different angle. The ferries from Doolin is about 30 mins but the water is quite rough and they may get cancelled due to weather conditions. I would suggest to go from Rossaveal instead. The schedule is a little more reliable. We almost got stranded on the island as the ferry from Doolin kept on getting cancelled.
But it should not deter you from visiting the island. You will feel tranquility, and peace.
