AA Lodge has an incredible location! Just a few kilometres from kimana gate, and with stunning views of Kilimanjaro from across the property! The cottage we stayed at was spacious, clean, and well-equipped. They had a lot of choice in food for each meal and it was very tasty! We saw some beautiful birds and small animals within the property during our stay.

The staff (Johnathan, Brian and Bernard) go out of their way to make sure you are comfortable and at home😊 The rooms are basic but comfortable. The food is satisfying and well prepared by chef Themba, with soft drinks available for a nominal fee at the site The location with the view of Mount Kilimanjaro and 20 minutes from Amboseli game park is wonderful! Our kids went on nature’s walks with Brian, helped cook with Johnathan and loved playing basket ball with the kids that were visiting the camp site. We enjoyed being taken by Jonathan to see some of the town activities (market day and the cattle auctions) giving us a taste of the local Masai Kenyan community life😊. We came home with beautiful Masai blankets😁 It was a holiday we will remember for many many years!! Thanks for making our 14 day quarantine in Kenya from South Africa travelling to the UAE one to remember😊💖 PS we hired a car to travel to Teen Ranch and then to go to the park. We had a 4x2 and struggled on some of the park roads but managed...A 4x4 would have been better but pick up and safari drives can be arranged by the staff at Teen Ranch as well for an additional fee.

Situated in Amboseli National Park, Kilima offers spacious accommodation with views of the animal water pools and the Mount Kilimanjaro. The food was excellent, always ready on time. The staff were very friendly and willing to serve. All in all was an excellent experience for me and my family. Will definitely be going back .

Boasting mountain views, The Red House features accommodation with a garden, a shared lounge and a terrace, around 3.9 km from Amboseli National Park. THE HOSTS, the askari, and the guy looking after the property, both are very good people!! Location, the host, and the place are really all you need for a weekend away!!! you will see me AGAIN!!!
