Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.

United StatesMy room key not working and I filed complaint to reception staff and they are insisting me that I kept card key with some magnetic stuff so that’s y it wonts work. But I disagree with them and finally it reveals that I am right and the batteries inside the door lock needs replacement and they do so to open my room.

ZambiaIt’s central location and near to everywhere!! Near to the airport, metro station, Deira mall, Reef Mall and Al Gurah Mall. All these are walking distances. It’s also peaceful quiet and safe. The staff were friendly and helpful!
The location is perfect and surrounding with 24/7 discount shops giving you value for the pocket. You can shop anytime. The hotel provided good breakfast and dinner one wouldn’t the impact of Ramadan as compared to Zanzibar. Near to metro station and surrounded by big malls.

Sri Lanka2 bottles of water are some days not enough. better to kept 2 bottes in the mini fridge and another 2 on the desk. The lobby area of the hotel is better be expanded. My suggestion is remove/ relocate the ' Bar' area and use that area to expand the Lobby. Lobby area is important to meet guests from different countries and suddenly meet face to face the guests in same country in different groups.
Availability of fruit drinks, Cornflakes etc . plenty. delicious Omelets and other foods suit for any country. Location is convenience for easy in and out for our purposes. All amenities in the room are adequate during my stay.
