Cabinn Scandinavia, hotel in Copenhagen

This hotel is 20 minutes’ walk from Copenhagen Central Station and Tivoli Gardens. It offers free WiFi and compact rooms with private bathrooms, a TV and tea/coffee facilities.

I'm giving this the highest rating to counteract what I feel are a bunch of unfairly negative reviews! This place is exactly what it says on the tin; it's a clean, comfortable budget option in a central and safe location. Zero frills, but that was totally fine with us. The only other option we could see in Copenhagen in this price range were pods in hostels further out of the city where we wouldn't have had our own bathroom. Maybe don't stay here if your priority is having a large room with bells and whistles, but for our purposes for a four-night stay for two, where we preferred to spend our money on food and experiences and we were mostly out exploring the city, Cabinn Scandanavia was perfect.

Copenhagen is a lovely city to visit.

Copenhagen is a lovely city to visit. They have the usual guided walking tours, we did the free one, they have the boat canal tours, castles with plenty of history, museums and the beautiful colourful houses/apartments. The most boring statue in all of Europe is the Little Mermaid Statue. Be aware as It is an extremely expensive city to stay and eat compared to many other European cities. If I had a choice I'd go back to Amsterdam instead or go hiking elsewhere.

    Very impressive city.

Very impressive city. It's large, but there's buses, trains, and a metro. Cyclists have priority over pedestrians. Most people speak very good English. I would recommend hotels around the canals rather than in the centre near Tivoli Gardens/ Central Station, unless Tivoli Gardens is your main focus.

Copenhagen is a small city. You can explore the highlights with a few days. It has delicious bakeries and the people are reasonably friendly as long as you do not get in the way of their bikes! Lots of bike riding and you must be vigilant when crossing the bike paths.

Great city to visit and explore.

Great city to visit and explore. The Danes are very friendly and the transport and facilities are great. If you are staying 2 days or more and want to see all the museums, palaces etc. then get the Copenhagen Card - it is worth it. Not very impressed with Tivoli - yes it has history and the park is pleasant. The entry price is just that, entry in. To go on the rides and fun things it is an extra £35 for an adult! The harbour tour is a must, pick a sunny day... Be prepared to spend, it is not a cheap place to stay. Look for the Netto supermarkets - they are great value for food and drink on the go, picking up lunch etc. This will save you some money.

Location location location! We needed a place that would allow us to get to the airport early in the morning and voila, perfect. Also easy to reach the city centre by metro (not even 20 mins). The hotel is beautifully designed (the lobby is great) and comfortable. The staff was great, friendly and helpful. We also appreciate the early check-in -- allowed us to spend more time in lovely Copenhagen (especially that we only had one afternoon to do so)

Good value for money. Nice clean rooms. There were some booking issues and I’ve got upgraded room. That was a nice surprise. It looks like hotel is in remote area, but actually it is near Tivoli garden and Glyptotek. Bus station is in front of the hotel, so you can reach other areas on public transport or bike. You can rent it in a hotel. Copenhagen is created for exploring it with bikes, so that is a good option. Breakfast was good

Such a beautiful and interesting hotel. Its super close to the Metro and city centre for a real decent price. Booked the hotel since black Friday and was so glad to visit. I didn't read much about the hotel but was shocked to see an Ipad and led changing lights in the bathroom but the cherry on the top was the electronic curtains I was a big kid with that function. Thank you Copenhagen you have been so kind. I'll be back again

The staff is very responsive on email. They are very friendly with your request. Location is ok if you like to stay close to the airport and is only 2 stops away from the city centre with a good public transport link within Copenhagen. This hotel is about 5 mins walk from the train station. Please be mindful that the underpass has no lift so you will have to carry a heavy suitcase using a staircase.

The lobby in hotel is huge, there is so much stuff to do - pool table, arcade games, futboll field. there is a terrace on the rooftop and bar that works on weekends i think. the place is insane, literally best hostel i stayed so far. its really close to tivoli amusement park and central station of Copenhagen so I liked it but it's not like very close to city centre.

The hotel was nicely located close to public transport and while it was next to a busy road the room was still super quiet. I booked this hotel, as the prices were so much higher in downtown Copenhagen. Hotel is close to airport, but it was easy to travel in to downtown- so it was absolutely worth saving some money to live on the outskirts of city centre.
