Gulfport was nice.
Gulfport was nice. Enjoyed the aquarium, Road house restaurant, shrimp basket, the outlet mall. Rode around and enjoyed sites. Our hotel was the only downfall, will not stay at Comfort Suites again. $200 room not worth it at all.SharonUnited States of America - 10Scored 10
Overall Gulfport is a beautiful place to visit.
Overall Gulfport is a beautiful place to visit. So much to do...rather fishing walking in the very nice parks, lodging on the beach eating or going to the casino. And let's not forget shopping at the Outlet mall. It really is a nice vacation spot. Wild wings is very affordable and has very good food. Texas Roadhouse is a good one as well. Clean room with a comfy bed at a good price. Breakfast was solid and coffee was actually pretty decent. Heater in the room was loud and cycled on multiple times per hour making getting a good night sleep challenging.

Gulfport is wonderful!
Gulfport is wonderful! Area restaurants are great, always someplace to go for good music and seafood! Traffic is easy to work with. Some public transportation for local things. Try to fly into Gulfport/Biloxi instead of New Orleans. Easy drive (85 min.) to NOLA.Natalie - 6.0Scored 6.0

Beach was OK. Water is not good at all. If you get a late start going out at night, you might want to make plans in advance to make sure you can find a place to eat. We were there on Memorial Day. Nothing was going on, there wasn’t any traffic- no people roaming around, nothing!! Activity centers closed at 10pm.Phipps - 10Scored 10
I love Gulfport!
I love Gulfport! The outlets are there, casinos, beach and lots of nice places to eat. There are plenty of things to do for everyone. It is only four hours from where I live so not a bad weekend trip! The outlets have lots of nice shops to shop at. It is really big. The have casinos in town if you are into that. They have endless hotels, restaurants, lovely beach and places to shop. You are not far from New Orleans if you want to go into Florida so all the way around a central area. I will never in life stay back at this hotel bad service..

The hotel is lovely and meals at the Oasis Grill were excellent. My kids enjoyed the Waterpark. Views of the gulf are beautiful. Everyone on the staff went above and beyond to make our stay great. I had never heard of Gulfport Mississippi before this trip, and we just found it as a convenient stop on a long road trip from NC to TX. After this stay, I would consider coming back for a week because it was just so lovely.

It's totally unassuming from the road, but then you meet the friendly staff, check into the surprisingly luxurious rooms, and rest assured knowing there's even a security guard out there so even the vehicles rest safely. Don't bother staying anywhere else.
