They did not have a reservation for us, but charged my credit card for $44.01. The manager was talking to some people who were renting a room on a full time basis. I tried to give him the confirmation number and he informed me again that he did not have a reservation for us and to leave. If I had read the reviews on this nasty place, I certainly would not have given it a second look. I believe I deserve a refund since he would not even talk to me or try to look up the confirmation number. Please reply.

The people are extremely friendly, West Jackson was a little rough looking and the roads are in need of repair. Not somewhere I'd stay if visiting again. In some ways we felt we were on our own - great and helpful man at checkin but then we only saw someone in morning at breakfast. May be busier during work week. Easy access to restaurants by car although one recommendation was a short walk, we just opted for other places. I recommend this property for a Jackson visit.

But once we found it it was a good location and hotel was fine. We set off early next morning so didn't get much chance to explore what the hotel had to offer but there was plenty of food outlets around.

In fact, of the 11 hotels on this trip we have stayed in, this was the most comfortable. Especially good to see the young lad making sure the breakfast trash bag was replaced before being too full as we have experienced in other hotels. Cleaning staff were very attentive and friendly - always a nice plus point when one is travelling far. Well done everyone.
