The house is comfortably sized for four, kitchen is well-equipped, there are clear instructions where needed. This is a family vacation home rather than just a tourist cottage, and it really felt like something special the owners were sharing with us.

El Laxhús está situado en Laxamýri, a 85 km de Akureyri. El aparcamiento privado es gratuito. Husavik está a 8 km. Everything was perfect! The place was so cute and cozy. I just wish we could have stayed longer.

El Vetursetur es una casa con terraza situada en Aðaldalur. Se encuentra a 80 km de Akureyri y ofrece aparcamiento privado gratuito. This cabin is not the most modern and chic but it felt so cosy and authentic. The lava formations around it were magical and it made for a great first base for us in Iceland and we stayed 2 nights - we really felt like we'd arrived somewhere really different. We love wildlife and were delighted to find a snipe on the porch on the first evening, loads of golden plover (including chicks), redwing and curlew. It was super cold when we arrived (weather obviously not the fault of the owner!) - about 4 degrees C in July, the wind was really going for it too - the small radiators were on and we quickly found the heater and were very cosy in no time. The bedrooms are very compact as is the bathroom but everything worked and was comfortable. We loved the inclusion of a good bean to cup coffee maker too. The location was excellent for days out in Husavik and Myvatn, we would have been happy to even have stayed a bit longer. It is off the beaten track, but the owner gave us super clear directions and we had no trouble finding it at all.

El Skógar Sunset Guesthouse ofrece WiFi gratuito, barbacoa y alojamiento a 13 km del Húsavík. Cada estudio independiente dispone de cocina con fogones, microondas y nevera. The best place I stayed in Iceland. Awesome

El Saltvík Farm Guesthouse está situado a 5 km del centro de Húsavík y ofrece alojamiento con vistas a las montañas de los alrededores y a la bahía de Skjálfandi. No pudimos elegir mejor el alojamiento. Primero destacar a la anfitriona, una chica muy amable y simpática. También destacar la ubicación, ya que es perfecta si tienes pensado hacer ruta por Husavik. La granja dispone de una cocina para todos los huéspedes con todo lo necesario, también al día siguiente teníamos incluido el desayuno. A escasos metros de los apartamentos se encuentran un reciento con caballos muy afables e simpáticos y las vistas son espectaculares, ya lo podéis ver en las fotos aparte de la granja que es preciosa. No podríamos haber estado mejor, volveríamos seguro! :)

Granastaðir Guesthouse está en Granastaðir, a 30 km de Cascada Godafoss, y dispone de alojamiento con jardín, parking privado gratis y terraza. El alojamiento se encuentra a 37 km de Húsavík Golf... Absolutely beautiful, very clean room with all the facilities we needed.

Kaldbaks-kot cottages está en Húsavík, en la región de Norte de Islandia, a 45 km de Cascada Godafoss. Ofrece alojamiento con wifi gratis, zona de juegos infantil, jardín y parking privado gratis. We loved everything about these cottages! The view was amazing, the beds comfortable and the hot tubs were just perfect to relax after a day of hiking and sightseeing!
