I would say a solid 3/5 star hotel----not fancy but not missing out on anything essential. The small store area in reception is great if you've forgotten anything small. Wonderful mahi mahi dish and everyone is really friendly. The live music was great---seems like it is the place on Lifou to be for dinner on the weekend!
