It's big enough for a family, with two bedrooms and a big kitchen. In the center of the town with a small lake view balcony. We were able to check in early.

Haus Trausner was an amazing stay. It was close to the town and very accessible. The room was exceptionally clean and cosy with beautiful views. The host Maria was extremely friendly and helpful. Her hospitality warms our hearts. The breakfast she provides is delicious and more than we could eat. We definitely recommend Haus Trausner as a must stay in Hallstatt!

We closed 2 nights in Hallstatt, we enjoyed the pension so much. Everything was clean. Pleasant. Authentic, located in a quiet place in the town(in the middle of the center) , the view from the room was magical. breakfast was great! And the experience was amazing thanks to the hostess who was one of the most charming I've ever known. Thanks!

The place is simply amazing. We had a private balcony with a beautiful view to the lake. The owners do their best to help you with what you need. For a small fee they provide laundry service, wich for us was a gret plus (paid 5 euros for a basket of clothes). Breakfast is simple but good.

We loved the location, it is right on the water and had amazing views from every window! The room we stayed in was very spacious and clean and had everything we needed. Very cozy and comfortable and the hosts were extremely kind and helpful. :)

This was the best apartment we stayed this year. It was even more beautiful as on picutures. Room was very cozy, bed very comfortable, pillows big and soft, bathroom was very clean, towels were new, there was hairdryer available, kitchen had all one could need for the stay, it is fully equiped. Bonus was tea and coffee available in the room. Whole appartment smelled very nice when we came in. In the evening, it was warm in room, we felt like at home. Location is great if you plan to go to salt mine, it is just few steps from house. We were there by car, parking was available on request. Land lady Herta is very nice, our room was ready earlier as check-in time and she allowed us to check-in earlier. This was great for us, as there was heavy rain when we arrived. If we go to Hallstatt again, we will stay only here.
