Our stay at Airkela Nubian Guest House in Egypt was truly special. Here's a short review of our fantastic experience: The room was amazing, with a balcony offering a stunning view of the Nile. It was not only beautiful but also spotlessly clean. Plus, the family who owns the guest house was incredibly welcoming and took great care of us, making us feel like part of their family. The location on Elephantine Island was perfect. It was a peaceful escape from the busy Aswan, and getting to the mainland was a breeze with their boat service (thanks to captain Ali). Breakfasts were delicious, featuring tasty local dishes and fresh juices. A real highlight was the Nile cruise organized by "the uncle name". It's an absolute must-do with breathtaking scenery, historical sites, and friendly guides. The staff were very friendly and helpful! Especially Ali who was always willing to take us to the opposite bank in his relaxing boat. In short, Airkela Nubian Guest House offered an authentic and delightful Egyptian experience. We're grateful to the wonderful family who made our stay so memorable. We can't wait to return!

Absolutely amazing stay. The welcome and care we felt at this Nubian house was unbelievable. It's actually a small place, with just three rooms, located right in the heart of the village market. Ahmad took care of us since before we even arrived, by arranging a private car to take us to Abu Simbel at a really great price. Needless to say he continued arranging all our logistics throughout our stay, which made our trip to Aswan really smooth and hassle-free. The room itself was amazing, perfectly clean, fresh, every little detail was so well thought out. And the food (breakfast and dinner) was the best we had anywhere in Egypt. We felt so comfortable at this place, and however we turned there was a big smile and welcome from the hosts. We loved it, thank you Ahmad!

Artika Wadi Kiki has an incredible location right on the Nile. There was a great onsite restaurant and the staff were very friendly and helpful. It's walking distance to a lively market area which was a great way to spend an evening in Aswan.

Kafana and his team were the most hospitable hosts you can hope for. They were attentive to all of our needs from before checkin until after checkout. Kafana personally made sure that all of the logistics were sorted out and that were were taken care of. For example, when we mentioned we wanted to go to a restaurant for lunch and then a felucca ride after. He had arranged for the felucca to be waiting at the restaurant before we even arrived. Staff at the restaurant were also expecting us when we had arrived. I heard from other guests that he also followed up on their tour guides, drivers etc when he organized day trips. Overall, he was one of the most hospitable hosts I've ever had and I will definitely return.
