This hotel is just beautiful - clean as can be, simple and elegant decor, lovely historic building, cute courtyard. The staff are friendly though they did ask if we were enjoying our stay about eight thousand times which was very sweet but did get a bit wearing. The price is unbelievable for this location and how nice a place it was - at least, at the time of this writing, our room was only 33 USD a night which is jaw-droppingly cheap considering what a lovely hotel and great location! In the middle of the fort, Spa Ceylon is just down the road (everything is just down the road, basically!) The air conditioning was crisp and cold. The welcome drink was a nice touch. The bathroom was very pretty though you're standing next to the toilet when you shower as it's a very small space, but I understand that because it is an historic building. Our room even had a tiny balcony which was a lovely touch. You can tell a lot of thought went into cleaning and restoring this building. Overall, I'd highly recommend staying here!

We loved our stay here so much that we booked again for our return to Colombo stay. The staff were so lovely and enthusiastic and helpful. The villa is gorgeous, so small and intimate. Only 4 rooms so we basically had it to ourselves as it was nearing the end of season in late April. We had a free tuk tuk ride to Galle Fort and this way we met a wonderful driver who ended up being a large part of our travels and a friend for life ! We caught the train from Colombo Fort to Galle and the villa is only a 5 minute tuk tuk ride. . Highly recommend 👌 👍 👏

Indiko and Shadow (the dog) are great hosts. Indiko takes good care of you and likes to tell you more about his live and living at the beach near Galle. Galle is 10 minutes by tuktuk. The food in the homestay is great.

The room was spacious and the enclosed balcony had a great view of the sea and of monkeys frolicking in trees nearby. The family running the guesthouse were very welcoming and each morning prepared a very ample and delicious Sri Lankan breakfast. A great choice if staying in Galle Fort

Mr. Renuka is a kind, knowledgeable and friendly host. The property is located in a peaceful neighborhood close to the railway station and the bus stand. The apartment is spacious, has air conditioning, a washing machine, a comfortable bed, a dinning area, easy chairs and a kitchen with a gas stove and refrigerator. Nice clean bathroom too. Delicious meals are available on request, and the Wi-Fi speed was good too. My father and I were very satisfied with our stay at this property and with our host who is also a greatconversationalist. Highly recommended.
