Beautiful location near the beach, awesome people, very good atmosphere. Too bad I couldn't stay longer. I will come back and stay one week next time. There's also this juice bar right next to the homestay. It's lovely! You cannot find a better place in the area.

Excellent experience. The owner is extremely accommodating. He won't say no to any reasonable request. Free bikes, free laundry service, and, since the next day was not fully booked, he let me check out as late as I wanted. Breakfast is delicious, diverse, only $5, and ample for two meals. Owner is happy to let you take-away the leftovers. He also let me stay one extra night even though the reservation site said it was full, so there's no harm in asking in case you're in that situation. The room is very clean and well-designed. There's a front patio where you can chill on loungers and hang swimsuits to dry. The only thing I would consider is that the property is not on the beachfront, while some neighboring properties are. It is a 10-15 minute walk from Polhena Beach and a < 5 minute walk to Madiha Beach.

A beautiful paradise to relax and disconnect for a few days. The pool was amazing, and the hosts will help with you whatever you need. Definitely recommend!

This was truly a hidden gem in Matara. The place is super clean and nice, the kind hosts were very helpful and supportive. This place had fully equipped kitchen (Microwave, Hot Plate, Electric Kettle, Juice Maker, Refrigerator and all the kitchen equipment you could ever want), There were two rooms which was super clean. Also this place had an Electric iron and there were Washing machine (we didn't use the washing machine) although the place is bit far from town, It is in close proximity to Polhena beach, which is a very beautiful beach. My first impression and stay at the place is not 10 out of 10, but 100 out of 10 ❤️. Highly recommend place and will definitely visit again.

Super nice family, spacious and clean apartment, the highlight is the bedroom with it's big cozy bed - we had a very good night sleep! We also enjoyed sitting on the balcony during the day and at night and got an awesome and very filling breakfast in the mornings - it was different every day during our 4-day stay (we extended!) Location is a bit up the hill tucked away from the more busy Hiriketya streets. Watch out for the banana thieves! 🐒

Stayed at Orange House for 2 weeks and had a great experience! The family who runs this guesthouse is incredibly friendly and very helpful. They cooked an amazing dinner for myself and 3 other guests! The location is very close to the main surfbreaks on weligama beach and shops, restaurants, atms. Would definitely stay here again!
