Very helpful and relaxed and they do washing too! They also generously let us pay via PayPal because there is no cash machine in the village and we were low on cash. ( We are stupid British tourists). They have the most adorable dog and cats! The breakfast pizza we had was the best breakfast we've had from any hostel we have stayed in this trip! I don't usually write reviews regularly but because the family went above and beyond for us. :) Thank you! Bryn and Emma x

The Hill B&B (El Morro Hosteria) býður upp á gæludýravæn gistirými við ströndina í El Valle - Bahia Solano. Mónica is very kind and helpful, the location is amazing, the room is very comfortable, it's walking distance from everything in town and also private and quiet. Keep in mind that you're in the tropical rainforest, bugs, storms and humidity are to be expected and part of the experience, enjoy!

Nuqui is already a dream but our stay at Popochos made it unforgettable. As an extra bonus, the hostel dog Rocky is always there to accompany you on some adventures if you wish!

Quiet beach setting. Very welcoming host with exceptional cooking using natural products. I was pleased to meet an independent women who is living off grid and is almost self sufficient. Dona makes the effort of arranging rides and tours and made sure we had a reliable ride back to the airport.

HOSTAL EL DESCANSO er staðsett í aðeins 500 metra fjarlægð frá Capurganá-ströndinni og býður upp á gistirými í Capurganá með aðgangi að garði, sameiginlegri setustofu og upplýsingaborði ferðaþjónustu.... The owner was amazing!! He brought us coffee, was super smiley and made us feel super at home. The rooms were perfect and it was such a good price!

Hostal Portal Del Sol er staðsett í Capurganá, í innan við 1 km fjarlægð frá Capurganá-ströndinni og býður upp á garð, verönd og garðútsýni. Portal del Sol is a hidden jewel! It is run by the most adorable couple, Carlos and Maricela, who were very helpful, attentive to the needs of their guests, and kind. Portal del Sol is tucked away in a lush garden setting and is located adjacent to the Sapzurro trailhead. It is quiet and peaceful, and an easy 10 minute walk to the center of Capurgana and to the beach. When I first arrived, Carlos gave me a tour of Capurgana, pointing out places to eat, swim, shop and how to find my way back to Portal del Sol. Hint! Look for the blue wall. My room was clean and simple with everything a person needs to be comfortable - bed, fan, shower and toilet. Now let’s talk about the breakfasts. THE BREAKFASTS!!! They were incredible, with something different and unique every day, including fresh juice from one of Carlos and Maricela’s many fruit trees. Breakfast often included a traditional Colombian dish, too. So good and filling, you won’t need to eat again until dinnertime. And you get to enjoy your breakfast in their lovely garden - the perfect way to start your day! Portal del Sol is a small establishment, with just 3 (or maybe 4 ) cabins. Everything was well-cared for, tidy and super safe. I stayed at Portal del Sol six nights and could have easily stayed much longer because it was so comfortable and because of the hospitality of Carlos and Maricela.

Casa de Vacaciones ECOWASI VERAS býður upp á gistingu með setusvæði, í innan við 600 metra fjarlægð frá Capurganá-ströndinni. Íbúðin er með sérinngang til aukinna þæginda fyrir þá sem dvelja. The location is good - on the outskirts of Capurgana (it can get noisy at night closer to the center), close to jungle. The kitchen is a bit basic but ok. The terrace with hammocks is nice.
