Treasured the breathtaking expansive black sand beach surrounded by mountains and basically having it to ourselves. Peacefulness. Roberto (and his cute dogs) are attentive hosts. He proudly provided a fine dining experience. This was a very natural experience in the outdoor bungalow, beach and tropical grounds compared to the large chain resorts that we normally stay at. Loved the very memorable two days there and great overall value.

Everything was clean and my room was spacious and comfy, and even had a balcony. As far as I could tell all three rooms overlook the sea, looking towards the island of Brava where the sun sets. Stunning views. Easy walk into the centre of town. Albino was so accommodating - helped me arrange various trips / transport, let me do some very basic cooking in the kitchen, you can help yourself to beers, water etc for a good price, breakfast is nice too. Just a warning that when I was there it's not in the exact same location as Google maps shows it - fortunately some guys gave me directions, and Albino actually spotted me walking from his truck, and gave me a lift to the right place!

Nice large room, basic furniture but adequate and practical, fairly quiet, clean and tidy. The hotel has charm as does the entire town of Sao Felipe. Staff were friendly. Breakfast is basic but adequate. Restaurant service at the sister hotel very slow at times.
