The host also welcomed us, arranged tours for us, breakfast and great hospitality. The room has an incredible view of the Nile River, it was definitely our favorite place in Egypt. Great location with good restaurants around and easy access. We are dreaming of a return day!

This is a beautiful and traditional place to stay with amazing views of the Nile and such lovely staff! We arrived late at night and were served kofta, rice, baked tomatoes and potatoes,and tahini, all served outside our bedroom. The staff can not do enough for you and the breakfast by the Nile was unforgettable.

Kafana and his team were the most hospitable hosts you can hope for. They were attentive to all of our needs from before checkin until after checkout. Kafana personally made sure that all of the logistics were sorted out and that were were taken care of. For example, when we mentioned we wanted to go to a restaurant for lunch and then a felucca ride after. He had arranged for the felucca to be waiting at the restaurant before we even arrived. Staff at the restaurant were also expecting us when we had arrived. I heard from other guests that he also followed up on their tour guides, drivers etc when he organized day trips. Overall, he was one of the most hospitable hosts I've ever had and I will definitely return.
