We stayed for a total of 9 nights in Romlan; in two different rooms. Where to start with the things we liked? First of all, the staff of Romlan is very friendly and helpful. They even helped us with calling and getting to the local pharmacy to get some medicines for sickness (one of us got ill and they called the pharmacy that was closed due to the Sunday Service and they opened up the pharmacy for us). The food and drinks of their own restaurant were amazing and very tasty & variable; good price value as well! The location of Romlan is also good: the boat drops you off at their pier and all the things in Tuk Tuk are on walking distance. The views from the rooms and restaurant are amazing. If you want to hire a scooter bike you can without signing for anything and you don't have to fuel up the tank (when you get the bike, the tank is full). A free refill water station is available and also some tips & tricks about the surroundings of Romlan and the transport options from Lake Toba to other places like Berastagi or Medan. Definitely recommended to book your stay at Romlan when you are looking for a place to stay in Tuk Tuk.

All is good, just tired with roosters at the early morning! Near accommodation you find best restaurant with life music in the evening, owner was friendly and helpful! Price is so nice!

Manager Mr. Jae organized a car with a driver for me to see Samosir Island. Driver Mr. Rambo was also a very good driver and a guide. He was extremely cooperative. I enjoyed my stay at this hotel.

Possibilità di affittare lo scooter. Offrono la colazione ma non pranzo e cena. Terrazza panoramica all'ultimo piano.Consigliato!

Mario Lakeside Apartments is a recently renovated apartment in Tuk Tuk, where guests can make the most of its free bikes and garden. Abbiamo soggiornato in un miniappartamento di due stanze a pochi metri dal lago, con una vista bellissima. Katie, la gestrice, è stata straordinariamente gentile ed efficiente per risolvere alcuni problemi di transfer che teoricamente non la riguardavano. Molto piacevole anche il locale comune e buono il ristorante vegano.
