Overlooking the Atlantic Ocean, you can try to spot marine mammals. We were told that the seals come to the rocks below in the summer. The beds were comfy and there was more than enough space for two people. The self check-in details were clear and the communication with the owner was fast.

We visited in winter and it was an excellent place to view the aurora.

The apartment and the surroundings are splendid. The apartment has everything you need, very cozy and it was renovated a month ago. Ashtildur and Jonni are wonderful, and we can't thank them enough for their hospitality.

Marbakki was a very beautiful, secluded property. My family and I loved the design of the house - it was very cozy and made us feel right at home. The villa had a lot of great touches including a well stocked kitchen (various spices, coffee pods, etc.) and yoga mats. The rooms were small, but the beds were very comfortable. Although there is only one bathroom, it was spacious and very clean. The outside deck overlooking the ocean and the hot tub were amazing. We enjoyed sitting and relaxing in the hot tub while taking in the ocean and mountain views. I highly recommend taking an evening or morning walk on the beach! Our family really enjoyed this villa and we will keep it on our list for future Iceland trips!
