The apartment had everything we needed, Including some coffee, sugar, pepper and salt, toaster, etc. the best thing was the beautiful Garden right on the water, beautiful Plantings, amazing views through the windows unto the Icelandic flowers. Hítarneskot Holiday Home is a holiday home with a barbecue, set in Hítarneskot. Guests benefit from terrace. Free private parking is available on site. Free WiFi is offered. Lovely cottage set next to the sea. The house had everything we needed. Warm and comfortable. You can sit by the window and just watch the horses. We visited in winter and it was an excellent place to view the aurora.

You can have a nice walk to the beach from the guesthouse and feel like you're the only person miles around.

This property is near Akranes Harbour and 1.3 km from Akranes Museum Centre. It offers a pretty, hedged garden and a large, furnished terrace. Wi-Fi and parking are free. It was very clean, quiet, and the people who run it were very helpful. The bed was very comfortable.

The location of the cabin is secluded and allows to easily see the northern lights. The view around is amazing - it is difficult to describe in words its intensity in the middle of winter. We watched it and the glow from the cozy dining area and it was spectacular. Very short driving distance from the photogenic mountain Kirkjufellsa. The beds are very comfortable, the wood paneling on the walls makes you feel good. The access road is in good condition, there is an adjacent parking lot. The owner lives nearby and is available for any questions or requests. We couldn't ask for more. For us, the place is very special and was perfect.

My family and I loved the design of the house - it was very cozy and made us feel right at home. The villa had a lot of great touches including a well stocked kitchen (various spices, coffee pods, etc.) and yoga mats. The rooms were small, but the beds were very comfortable. Although there is only one bathroom, it was spacious and very clean. The outside deck overlooking the ocean and the hot tub were amazing. We enjoyed sitting and relaxing in the hot tub while taking in the ocean and mountain views. I highly recommend taking an evening or morning walk on the beach! Our family really enjoyed this villa and we will keep it on our list for future Iceland trips!
