It was the perfect stay, the really nice host picked me up at the port and drove me to the Appartement. The Japanese-Style apartment is comfortable and clean. You can have a bbq in the garden. In the apartment are bikes (electro and normal), you can take to explore the island (what I would recommend). The next really beautiful beach is 2min to walk.

In addition, he was very courteous and helpful so that he helped us among other things to reserve a bike. Also at the departure he ordered a cab for us on request. In general, the IkI Guesthouse offers everything you need. The 3rd best beaches are also just around the corner. On Iki you should either rent a bike or a car, because there are not supermarkets everywhere.

We only stayed a night and were perfectly satisfied. Staff were so welcoming and helpful when we checked-in. No English but use of translate apps was fine. Good wifi. The kitchen dining area is very spacious, clean, well-equipped with condiments, crockery and cutlery. Coffee & tea available. Clean bathroom/toilets. Coin-operated washer & dryer which we didn't use so can't comment. Good location near the ferry terminal. There are two entry-ways to the property (front of building and back of building).

We had a wonderful family vacation here. The guesthouse is new and clean. It offers a view over the harbour in a calm fisherman's village. A nice swimming beach is just 5 minutes walking away. The Japanese breakfast is served in a traditional dining room of a 150 year old house. Despite of existing language barriers the owner was caring for us in a lovely manner. He even drove us around the island for a sightseeing tour! There was an employee who spoke fluent English & Korean.
