We absolutely loved every aspect of our stay at the JamboHouse. Arnold welcomes you with a series of recommendations and a welcome drink. The room is cozy, internet and water are working. We were grateful for the information about local restaurants and activities that can be arranged. We did both the sunset walking tour and the dhow sunset tour and enjoyed both of them very much. The view from the terrace is very nice and the breakfast is spectacular. Thank you once again for everything. If we are back in Lamu, we will definitely stay here again.

I loved how clean it was and how much attention was paid to details. Thé staff, especially Amani were very friendly and helpful and helped me navigate my way around.

Really well-prepared and sourced organic food eg home-made breads, jams, yogurt etc, often from their own permaculture "samba".

The house is a beautiful gem within old lamu town. The architecture is stunning, the rooms are freshened by fans and the pool is great to escape the day’s heat. The house staff is incredibly helpful and Peter was a great caretaker. We would also warmly recommend arranging a tour of the old town and of shela, as well as a boat tour if one wishes, with Abu. Abu is knowledgeable and loves his job; he is a great storyteller and a great artist (ask to see his recycled art). Walking around Lamu with him and learning about this unique place from him was a wonderful experience.

Makubwa House asub Lamus. Breakfast was really nice, with a choice between Swahili and English style and it was served on the cozy rooftop terrace with views of the sea. I was lucky to be upgraded to their spacious and well-appointed "executive" suite on the third floor. Omar and Lilian were great to deal with at breakfast and with laundry etc., I appreciated the help they provided in many ways and look forward to coming again.

Terrassi ja vaikse tänavavaatega Wildebeeste Lamu asub Lamus, 300 meetri kaugusel Lamu kindlusest ja 400 meetri kaugusel Baraka galeriist. Wildebeeste House was amazing looking and there are options for views. Also close to Everything!

Välibasseiniga Banana House and Wellness Centre asub Shela külas Lamu, 2,7 km kaugusel Baraka galeriist. Lamu kindlus jääb 2,8 km kaugusele. The hotel is beautiful, and the staff is always available and welcoming. We have access to a wide range of activities and the hotel is well located, in the center of Shilla and a few minutes by walk from the beach.

Swahili Dreams Apartments asub Lamus, Lamu muuseumist 100 meetri ja Lamu kindlusest 200 meetri kaugusel. Majutusasutuses on köök. Apartementides on privaatne vannituba ja tasuta WiFi-ühendus. The design in this property is amazing, beautiful. The indoor pool is exquisite. The staff was excellent and the apartments large and comfortable.

This villa was gorgeous, in the historic Swahili style of Lamu. We had the loveliest time here. The location is relatively quiet though you are in the middle of town - we walked everywhere easily. There is also good Wi-Fi which was great for us as we were working remotely on some of the days. The rooftop has a lovely breeze and sitting area where the Wi-Fi reaches. There is also a very nice sitting area around the small pool. Jamhuri, who welcomed us on arrival, was friendly and easy to communicate with. With enjoyed every moment of our stay and I would definitely return again.
