We loved the beach and the room with a new of the beach was perfect. The beach was clean and the pool was amazing. Staff was friendly and accommodating. A big thanks to the kindness of our Irish hostess and the super job the housekeeper did keeping our room immaculate. The resort is on a really quiet and beautiful part of the island. A special shout out too for the help the resort provided to deliver some school supplies to the local school.

Firefly guesthouse is absolutely beautiful. I planned on only staying two nights, but kept extending. This is a place you don’t want to leave. Waking up at the riverside, having a swim and just watching the boats go by.. absolute bliss. The owner and his family are also so friendly and accommodating, and the food is so good and fresh. They also can make their dishes vegan. This is the perfect place is you want somewhere to just relax and take it all in. Really loved it there!

Chilling on the beach, snorkeling, going around the jungle, looking to the birds at view point… Everything is there ! I've never been more welcomed anywhere in my 7 years of traveling as I was at Bongs. They are a very genuine and caring family. It's right at the peer. It's a hotspot for the locals and local business owners. It's not a luxury spot by any means, but their service, their food and their hospitality is excellent. I will surely visit again. Sam was the best host ever, she knew the best spots for snorkelling, where to go to see the plankton at night, best places to eat in town, best routes for hiking. MPai Bay is a small place but we would have had to go on private tours to do all the things we did if we hadn't had Sam's advice.
