Kirinda Heaven - Yala, a property with an outdoor swimming pool and a garden, is set in Kirinda, 700 metres from Kirinda Beach, less than 1 km from Nidangala Beach, as well as 14 km from Tissa Wewa. I stayed one night at Kirinda Heaven. It’s a beautiful, family run property. The property is fairly new so all of the accommodations are modern. It also has a stand alone bungalow room, which I stayed in, which is like having one’s own little home! There is a beautiful pool on the property as well. The family that runs the property is great and will do everything they can to make your stay enjoyable.

Featuring a private beach area and views of sea, Beach Bungalow Yala is a recently renovated campground located in Kirinda, a few steps from Kirinda Beach. We could go for hours talking about Beach Bungalow Yala and especially its people. babu, Roshan and the team are the best people we met in Srilanka and probably in the world. They are kind, generous, genuine, sweet, smiling all the time. The stay was unforgettable in everything, the place itself is heaven on earth, the food is wonderful, the beach, the dogs, the cats… and again what made everything special was the energy of the people. We will never forget them in our entire life and we are coming again to stay here and to visit them.

Boasting a balcony with garden views, a garden and a bar, Kingfisher Beach Resort -Yala can be found in Kirinda, close to Nidangala Beach and 500 metres from Kirinda Beach. Beautiful house in a divine environment, you just hear the sound of the waves and the peacocks! Shehan the owner is super super nice and he became a friend he is a warm and giving host and a wonderful cook!

Located in Yala and only 200 metres from Palatupana Beach, O2 Villas Yala provides accommodation with mountain views, free WiFi and free private parking. Exceptionally friendly and helpful staff with all yours needs. This really added to our enjoyment of stunning villas, and locality. Would highly recommend and come back; our whole would agree!! We were a group of three friends. We stayed here overnight to assist with a planned visit to Yala Safari. p.s. astounding compliments to the chef!!! Yum dishes were had!!!

Located in Yala in the Hambantota District region, Nil Sisila Beach Resort Yala provides accommodation with free private parking. A à la carte breakfast is available daily at the bed and breakfast. Fantastic location, close to long stretch of empty beach. The host Hansa is super friendly and makes amazing Sri Lankan breakfast and dinner. The room was simple, but perfectly comfortable, with quiet and effective air con. Access is down a very bumpy unmade road, but iur driver had contacted the hotel in advance and arranged to meet Hansa on the main road and he picked us up. The safari organised by the hotel was very good.

Situated in Kirinda, near Nidangala Beach, Kirinda Beach and Kirinda Temple, Treasure Rock has a shared lounge. There is an in-house restaurant, plus free private parking and free WiFi are available. I did not stay here while in Kirinda due to limited space (the owner and I connected on Whatsapp and he helped in finding me another property nearby) but most of the people in my group did. I wanted to write a review based on my experience with the property and the communication with the host when they realized that they were double booked. We had dinner for 16 there and it was amazing. The Host family is great and the property is in an amazing location. My friends that stayed there loved it. It’s a little bit more expensive than some of the other options but from what I could see it’s worth it!

Boasting lake views, Humbhaha jungle nature eco resort features accommodation with free bikes, a garden and barbecue facilities, around 18 km from Situlpawwa. This is one of the most unique hotels I’ve ever stayed in, and you can spend quite a while wandering the property and looking at all the quirky artwork. I would highly recommend staying in for dinner one night as the food was exceptionally delicious. The staff were very friendly and helpful too! They organized our safari ride as well as Tuk Tuks into town. The rooms are a bit on the rustic side, but it adds to the fun experience!

Featuring garden views, Temple Flower Guest provides accommodation with balcony, around 90 metres from Kirinda Beach. It was a great location, the staff were excellent and the food was great

Set in Yala, 8 km from Situlpawwa, Yala Leopard Camping features a barbecue and views of the sea. Bed linen is offered. Yala Leopard Camping also includes a children's playground. Nice clean tent, good beds, good facilities, friendly staff Breakfast was good compare to dinner, not sure why

Featuring air conditioning, Jetwing Safari Camp is set amidst the immediate outskirts of the Yala National Park. Kataragama is 21 km from the property. Free WiFi is offered. Amazing property, amazing staff and amazing facilities. Has to be one of the best hotels I have stayed at by far. There is nothing in this facility that I would change!
