Casa de Valentin í Llachon býður upp á gistirými, einkastrandsvæði, garð og garðútsýni. The house met all expectations and was truly a place to relax and enjoy nature. The hosts were very kind and gave me a feeling of being welcomed. I can totally see myself coming back and staying for longer.

Very hospitable and kind family! It was interesting for us to observe the life of the local people. Very tasty food (besides breakfast there was an opportunity for lunch and dinner). It is very calm around, no city fuss, we really rested our souls. Picturesque places nearby. It was possible to negotiate with the owner about the boat to the islands Amantani/Takile. And the alpaca lives here too!

Oliver, Sebastiana and their children are a lovely family who you instantly feel at home with. The room we had was spacious, private and had a beautiful view of the lake. Hot water and WiFi worked amazingly for the area and the food provided (for an extra cost, but really good value), was very tasty and varied. There are a few walks to do in the area to keep you busy, and Oliver can also take you out on his boat to some of the local islands and to see the trout farm he runs (again, for an extra fee but for what you get, we thought it was really good value for money. You have to remember you have the boat completely to yourselves and there were no other tourists on the floating island we visited, making the experience very authentic). There's a really nice outdoor seating to enjoy the sun and view. Getting there is also very easy with collectivos going regularly from Puno and Juliaca for next to nothing. Nothing could have been better. Thank you Oliver, Sebastiana, Diana and little Adele.

Our visit to Isla Amantani and our stay at Chaska Wasi with Oswaldo, Beatriz, and Jessi was the highlight of our Peru trip (yes, better than Macchu Picchu). Staying on the island at this location, gave us the peace and tranquility that we craved. The view from our room and the courtyard was absoluely breathtaking. We watched the sky and lake change throughout the day to various shades of blue. We watched lightning over the water at night. From this location, we had easy, quick access to the plaza. We were able to hike to pachamama and pachatata. This part of the island had gorgeous views and was very quiet. It was also conviently close to the boat ramp for drop off and pick up. Walking on the island and observing farming practices, happy sheep, and beautiful stone walls filled us with joy. The meals here were delicious and the portions tremendous. The family provided us with the perfect amount of attention and hospitality. We were able to interact with them and ask questions but were free to do our own thing. The experience felt VERY authentic and genuine (not fake or forced). We cannot recommend this accomodation enough. You must visit :)

Hospedaje y Restaurante Saywa er staðsett í Llachon á Puno-svæðinu og býður upp á gistirými með aðgangi að almenningsbaði. Quiet, quaint, and beautiful. The host family were very accommodating and made us feel at home. The food was delicious and the views were spectacular. We were also very impressed by Llachon, a peaceful change of pace compared to Juliaca and Puno.

Uros Lodge Lover Titiqaqa er staðsett í Puno og býður upp á sundlaugarútsýni, veitingastað, ókeypis skutluþjónustu, bar og garð. The place was great! The host was super helpful with coordinating our way onto the island and a tour around the Uros islands too. The food was amazing and it was overall a very great value. Even had wifi!

Maya Inn er með verönd og er staðsett í Puno, nálægt Puno-höfninni, Bahia de los Incas Boardwalk og Pino-garðinum. The staff is amazing! Really helpful. The room Is amazing really comfortable and the shower is great with hot water. Very nice after a long day at titikaka.

Alberto is the best host ever!!! I loved the tranquilo place and his cooking! I recommend you to order dinner too! It’s so good! Fresh milk from cows, papas from his garden…my body was so happy to eat organic food and breath clean air! Alberto was so kind to organize my trip ! Can’t thank enough:D!!
