Very impressed by the hostel!!! I booked for one night but ended up staying several nights. It is very clean and spacious. The beds and pillows are super comfortable. Feels like sleeping in clouds haha.. The bathroom is also very clean and comes with the basic toiletries. The breakfast is delicious and the host is amazing!!! She's very friendly and I felt like home the moment I stepped in the hostel. The pool table is one of the best ones I've played on in vietnam. I 100% recommend this hostel!

Als je een unieke ervaring wil, dan is dit the place to be. In een rustige baai achter de vissersboten slaap je op een prachtige homestay ark. Je kunt sups of kayaks gebruiken, zwemmen en een hele ronde maken langs andere baaien, en drijvende visserswoningen. Heel bijzonder en gaaf om mee te maken. Wij hadden de grootste kamer, die ook nog een prachtige badkamer, en een doorkijkvloer/glas had, waardoor je een extra speciaal gevoel kreeg dat je op een boot sliep. We waren er om 3pm en bleven tot 11am, waardoor we er volop van genoten hebben en 1 nacht betaalden. De hosts zijn een man en vrouw die geen engels praten, maar je willen verwennen met allerlei vers lekkers. Het diner was fantastisch!!! De hele tafel stond vol met vlees, vis, groente en vegetarische schotels. Veel meer dan we op konden! Daarna nog lekker fruit als toetje. Fantastisch!!

The view of the room was magnificent and the room was too nice!!

The Bay - Ha Long Homestay ligt in Ha Long, op 600 m van het station van de Queen-kabelbaan, en biedt gratis WiFi en een balkon of een weelderige gemeenschappelijke ruimte. The Bay was a small and very cozy apartment with very beautifully designed-decorated rooms around a small cute courtyard. Its minimal environment was enriched by perfect details such as stairs and balconies becoming a green public garden with ivies, or the kitchen with all the complete wares for cooking, keeping and sharing food and drinks. smooth colours and well-chosen paintings on the walls create a nice and warm atmosphere where everything was very clean and well maintained. The Location was on the other side of the center of Ha Long. in Bai Chay, where there is a more local and scaled relationality rather than huge same buildings, homestay is very close for an easily reaching neighborhood life. And Tung, the host was very helpful about giving tips for visiting places, food and transportation around both the bay and the neighborhood. We had a motorbike rental and travel around easily. So, it became a very good stay enriching its price which we can highly recommend.

Great location, super clean, i mean so clean you could literally eat off the floor!! Beautiful smoking lounge on the rooftop. Great location with a short walk to the center. We had breakfast every morning prepared by the owners wife that was absolutely delicious and the highlight was when the owner Mr Throng would come up to your table each morning with his own home brewed fruity Rice wine and pour you a shot with him and say “This is how we say good morning in vietnam” and believe me it was good, so good i asked him for a second round ;) Mr throng was very helpful with booking us an excursion the first day and renting his bike, he even pulled out a map of the island explaining to us in detail what route to take to get to the near by attractions and how long it would take and timed it perfectly so that we would reach the Jetty on the otherside of the island on time for a beautiful sunset. he even advised us about the money exchange rates in Cat ba advising us to try our best to pay by card or local currency and to save our dollars to exchange them in a bigger city so that the we would get a higher rate. his genuine character and warm personality made our stay in Cat ba a memorable one for sure! Would definitely without a doubt recommend Cat ba central homestay to anyone that is planing to visit and would definitely stay here if we ever return to cat bar in the future!!!!
