The schedule of the trip was full of nice activities (which you can choose to do, otherwise you can just relax on the cruise). Everything was clean and everyone was extremely friendly and helpful. Don’t do what I did and book a boat tour from Hanoi. Let them help you book a tour so that you get out before the crowds arrive ( and it’s cheaper) . I borrowed a bike and cycled along the coast, went to the museum (excellent) and saw the fish market.

This is first time i travel Halong and i booked The Bay after reviewing online, all is good during staying time. Host is so kind and enthusiastic, he help us a lot bring luggage to room, booking Halong Bay tour and bus back to Hanoi. We will be back staying here in next time. Highly recommend!!!!!

Featuring a garden and views of garden, Cat Ba Central Homestay is a recently renovated homestay set in Cat Ba, 1.4 km from Tung Thu Beach. With city views, this accommodation provides a patio. This property was super clean and just tucked away from the main streets so it was nice and quiet. I booked here and spending a few days on the Ha Giang Loop and I’m so grateful I did! I slept great and the host is the most kind and accommodating. He booked all of my trips and transportation for me - it felt nice to not have to use my brain!
