Wonderful people and a pleasant place to relax! Negist, the housekeeper, was very good to us. We enjoyed good breakfast and dinner in the beautiful garden! Her son Gash helped us a lot to arrange our remaining time in Ethiopia and was always available for questions, also after our stay. With his help it turned out to be an unforgettable journey through the north of Ethiopia!

The staff was friendly and professional particularly Solomon who was arranging our tours where professional. charming, attentive and funny. Well located within 5 minutes from the city centre. Exceptional staff, especially Solomon, who contacted me before arrival to arrange a transfer from the airport (not needed). He also arranged onward transport for me on my departure. I was sick on arrival and another staff member accompanied me to a pharmacy. Warm shower, not a given in Ethiopia. Exceptional value. I didn't get to sample the breakfast as I had an early departure.

It is situated in a convenient area and you can see the view of the lake in front or walk for two minutes to the lake. The rates of rooms are very cheap but they have a grateful facility and hospitality. Their tour offer is also reasonable. I would like to recommend this hotel full of joy.

Best welcoming and friendly hotel, Yiganda hotel is located in a quiet walking distance to the lake Tana and other attractions. The room was very cosy, comfortable and large, nice warm shower which is a real bonus in Ethiopia. We enjoying by the activities around Bahir Dar arranging by Solomon from the hotel.

I had a lovely time here. Peter and Cherry looked after me really well and I had a very memorable experience. The hostel is clean, cheap, and comfortable. It's located in a quiet area close to the centre. They helped me organise tours to monasteries, the Blue Nile, as well as a trip to the Simean Mountains. Staying here is a no brainer if you're travelling to Bahir Dar. Thanks guys!
