Shivo Guest House is exceptionally clean, the food ok, and the staff especially Caroline, Blandy, Shakira and Salma are warm and accommodating. I will stay at Shivo again and again and again.

Nothing I write here could come even remotely close to the level of comfort and positive experience we had at 64 Zenj House. The owner was very friendly and check in went smooth. Guarded parking lot is in front of the house separated from the main road by big property doors. Room was clean and spacious (we were a family of five) with ceiling fan and air condition working flawlessly (not common on Zanzibar and we were delighted when we saw it works perfectly :) Breakfast in the morning was something special, it started with full plate of fruits, and then continued with english breakfast - eggs, toast, butter, beans and sausages... for drinks we got tea with milk and homemade smoothie made from mango and avocado - perfect combination. The place itself is close to the airport and around 10min drive from the center of Stone Town, so whether you need to stay for a flight or to explore Stone Town while being in clean, spacios place and have a good night's rest - this is a place to be. We recommend this place and will deffinitely look it up next time we come to Zanzibar!

- the location was close to the main roads in Zanzibar but the city was just 10 min walking distance. If you needed a taxi pick up they didn’t have to drive into the city and it was not so overcrowded with tourists. - the host was incredibly kind and helpful. Gave us many Tipps and ideas of things to do in and around stone town :)! - the staff was overall very friendly - the breakfast is big and includes fruit, fresh juice, a choice of eggs, bread and coffee or tea - the rooms are equipped with AC, fan and mosquito net - the separate toilets (not a must) are clean (the water warms up very slowly but we didn’t even use warm water because of the heat) - 24/7 security in front of the doors that was also very kind - several communal rooms so you can chill places other than your room

Angel and her staff were so sweet!! The place is nice, clean, and very well located. Angel gave us great food and entertainment recommendations, fixed the water when it went off, and even walked us to the ferry so that we wouldn’t get lost and miss our boat. 100% recommend!!

Flamingo GH is located in a very nice area in Stone Town, close to many attractions. The room was cozy and clean and the staff was really friendly and helpful. I also enjoyed the breakfasts very much. Good place for a very good price, really recommend!
