We didn't really use the communal areas though, as our room Rosie was a comfy and cosy self contained unit with a kitchen and small sitting area that we were quite happy to stay in for all 3 nights of our stay. Our breakfast supplies were placed in the fridge - eggs, milk, juice, muesli, yoghurt, preserved fruits and a selection of spreads - more than enough for a hearty breakfast ! Check in and check out was simple and fuss free. Overall, it was a very pleasant experience!

The grand 19th Century manor house has been refurbished and rejuvenated and is set in a convenient location to enjoy all that Hobart has to offer. The Rivulet (formerly Amberley House) is only 2 km from historic Battery point and vibrant Salamanca Square and 3 km from Constitution Dock. The accommodation is in the mansion of 19th century. It's well equipped, modern and comfortable. You can enjoy well-furnished living room with a glass of whiskey, fireplace and some tea and coffee facilities. Breakfast was included and it was served tastefully, nothing to say about flavor.

We had a very comfortable room with an outside decking area. Amanda the host, has clearly put a lot of thought and effort into the property and it shows!

With a private bathroom, units at the guest house also feature free WiFi, while some rooms have a balcony. It was the most beautiful place we stayed in during our trip through Tassie. The room was exceptionally beautiful, the whole house actually was. Gorgeous interior and extremely perfect location, just next to the penguine spotting point. We arrived late and had a super smooth checkin. Since the town stores were already closed it was even more pleasant to be able to choose from the amazing variety of local beverages that were setup in the room.

Just a few meters from the ferry departure to Maria Island.

Located in Barrington and only 23 km from Devonport Oval, Barrington Church B&B provides accommodation with lake views, free WiFi and free private parking. The accommodation features a spa bath. The property features barbecue facilities and outdoor furniture. We love meeting Robert and Taco 🦜 (he is such a good boy). It was such a cozy and warm room, and we had a fresh baked bread for breakfast, we love the location and we are definitely coming back.
