Bistro was charming and meals very good. our room was in the cottage opposite the Inn and was lovely and a good size. fresh milk was delivered to our door early every morning. we stayed at the Castle Inn ten years ago and returned because we loved it so much. it didn’t disappoint this time

Ideally located for exploring the beautiful South West, The Ferry House Inn is just 5 minutes’ walk from the Royal Albert Bridge into Cornwall. The city centre of Plymouth is a 15-minute drive away. We liked every bit of our stay. The food was fantastic .. well done to the chefs and the service excellent. We had a really lovely week end and will most certainly stay again.

Wow, what a wonderful place! First and foremost, the location, right near the Hoe (park with a magnificent view of the harbor and a historical lighthouse) and the Barbican with many restaurants - and the Gin Distillery (a MUST!) And despite the proximity to all this, it was very quiet! Then the staff - OMG, what a wonderful team, everyone was ready to help with anything - special breakfast, directions, things to see, best restaurants... As I mentioned, the breakfast - several choices, ALL delicious, and made to order (try the poached eggs... a delight!) Parking was a bit tricky "on property", but quite achievable by leaving keys with front desk in case my car was blocking anyone. I LOVED this place! Not a hotel, but a fun happy place to stay! I'll be back!

A full English breakfast and varied menu can be enjoyed in the restaurant or al fresco on the covered courtyard. Local produce is used where possible, such as locally reared meat and locally caught fish. Everything was really good. Food, Staff etc Really could not complain

Offering a garden and garden view, Westley B&B is situated in Uplyme, 2.8 km from Lyme Regis Front Beach and 14 km from Golden Cap. This bed and breakfast features free private parking and luggage storage space. Boasting family rooms, this property also provides guests with a sun terrace. It was a clean, cozy b&b! Very close to the bus stop and there was a nearby pub. The buses were down for the bank holiday, so we walked to and from Lyme Regis via a beautiful river path.

At the bed and breakfast, all units are soundproof. Lovely quiet location surprisingly easy to find and it felt.very secure. The room was perfect for us and our two spaniels and it was lovely to have a kitchen right next door so we could make breakfast and tea in the morning. There was bread, yogurts and jams left out for us and coffee pods in the room so we couldn't have asked for more for an overnight stay. Having easy access straight out onto the grassed area in the morning was perfect for the dogs and both owners were lovely and friendly when we met them. Definitely will return when visiting the moors or the zoo which was just down the road. Thank you too Debbie for posting hubby's jumper back. You're a super host 😁.
