On arrival I expressed how tired we were... we'd done close to 3000 miles driving by this time... it was our last night in the UK before flying home to Australia the next day. Next thing we know Elaine had prepared 2 large cups of tea for us! Our room was spotless. Comfy bed, good shower, bath robes & slippers, tea/coffee making facilities in room. Lovely owner, Gosia, and Staff, Elaine and Beata. Dining room cum café very clean and tidy. Breakfast cooked to order, hot and tasty. A number of options for pastries and cakes. Added bonus of a real coffee machine so... delicious coffee 😋. Btw, the coffee is organic Peruvian coffee. The café in this hotel is open daily to the public and has a very pretty outdoor seating area as well. By the time we were ready to leave, we ordered 2 takeaway coffees, a blueberry muffin and a caramel slice with pecans. The locals had also started to arrive. Another bonus is the free parking. (Free parking seems to be something of a non-event in the UK, so it's a big deal when you get it.)

Incredibly accommodating hosts, great little cottage in a quaint little English town. Almost like walking into one’s own cottage. I had a wonderful four day stay!

We have two rooms, both looking out over a large garden, both with its own private entrance.

The Balcony Room is on the first floor, accessed via a private entrance and hallway, used only by you. The Juliet Balcony in this room gives you views of five miles over the rolling countryside. The Balcony Room has its private bathroom downstairs on the ground floor . Guests have their own table in the garden if they want to take breakfast outside. Jenni is very nice, the place is beautiful and very quiet. Amazing!

Guest rooms in Royal Oak Ramsden are equipped with a flat-screen TV and bathrobes.  Staying at the Royal, Oak was a highlight of our weeklong trip in England. The end exudes, warmth and charm. Our room was extremely comfortable and there are all sorts of special touches around the property. The staff are amazing and the food at the restaurant  delicious English fare.

Located in Wallingford and only 26 km from University of Oxford, Garden Room provides accommodation with garden views, free WiFi and free private parking. It is set 35 km from Cliveden House and features private check-in and check-out. The property is non-smoking and is situated 33 km from Notley Abbey. The Garden Room was a neat, comfortable and cosy little cottage in a quiet area of a country estate. It had all facilities we needed, good shower & bathroom, the bedroom was a lovely room although a little cramped for two people travelling with 2 large suitcases and backpacks. There was little room on each side of the bed to move around comfortably, however it would suit a single traveller with minimal luggage. The owners were helpful with information when required otherwise they left us to enjoy the lovely and quiet surrounds.
