At the guest house, each unit includes a private bathroom. The property was like renting out a single room airbnb. You had access to a kitchen and living area but basically on your own. It was quiet, and clean. The host were kind but we didn’t see too much of them as we were out and about a lot. Perfect location for visiting Galway, Canamara, and Aran Islands. Also the views of the ocean and the cute walk down to the shore was a nice benefit.

This is a Wow! factor property. Located not far from Galway, we enjoyed three nights at Claregalway Castle. Our host was fantastic and made sure our stay was all that it could be. Our room was spacious, the bed very comfortable, and the breakfast generous. But even more, staying in the restored Castle with all its history was phenomenal. Our host gave us access to view the ballroom, the tower and other parts of the Castle, where we could learn more about its history.
