A charming, newly renovated old house on the mountainside with breathtaking views of Lake Como. The care of the owner was beyond expectations, we got good advice for moving around the area and the breakfast was great, and flexible in terms of schedules. Special care was taken for the enjoyment of the our teenagers. We stayed in a family room, the room was just right for our needs and the balcony had stunningl view of the lake. Offering a terrace and mountain view, Gaby Lake Suites is located in Como, 300 metres from Como Lago Train Station and 800 metres from Basilica of San Fedele. When we walked in, Stefano gave us a warm welcome, and the check in to the room was super swift. When we walked into the room, it had a beautiful view and a comfortable atmosphere. The bed was very comfortable and the room was overall very clean, they do housekeeping every day. The bathroom has a nice design and was very clean. The entire stay was quiet, relaxing, and homey in general. The location was amazing, it’s only a few steps away from all the restaurants, the lake, bus station, and ferry station, you only need to take a taxi to the train station. Stefano was great in communication, he replies very fast, and he is very helpful and cheerful.

La Casa del Sarto - Rooms and Apartments has air-conditioned guest accommodation in Lecco, 25 km from Villa Melzi Gardens, 26 km from Bellagio Ferry Terminal and 27 km from Circolo Golf Villa d'Este. Breakfast was tasty and had good hours. This is the time when we were able to talk to the owner/manager. He is very friendly and helpful, plus his English is very good. He gave very good advice and is knowledgeable about the area. Price was good for that area.

The train service stopped due to land slide and we faced difficulty in reaching and leaving Varenna. Difficult to catch a taxi to leave Varenna to Lecco for onward train to Milano. Laura was kind enough to order a taxi for us. Clean and quiet room. Excellently located very close to the pier - good when raining.
