We could park our rental car on the gated property. Beautifully designed rooms and common areas. Everything is very clean and the rooms are properly cleaned every day (not just beds made and floor swept but cleaned). Great value.

The propiator (Arlene) contacted me on WhatsApp many days before stay to check if everything was correct. Then asked if we needed airport transfer. Very attentive. The apartment was super nice with everything in place. Comfy beds and one of the best showers I have every used. Snacks, coffee and tea available and of course a swimming pool and benches at our discretion. Then she drove us to the airport the next morning and all this transport for free! Breakfast we received in a basket and it was very rich and enough for four people. Highly recommended.

K&L Private Room Suites is set in Arima. The property has garden and quiet street views. Free private parking is available and the guest house also provides car hire for guests who want to explore the surrounding area. K&L, it's the best place you need to live. Traum House is a recently renovated bed and breakfast in Saint Augustine, where guests can make the most of its outdoor swimming pool and barbecue facilities. This bed and breakfast offers free private parking, a shared kitchen and free WiFi. Featuring family rooms, this property also provides guests with a picnic area. Being from WV of the USA and my first time in Trinadad, I was not sure what to expect at the Traum House. I was pleasantly surprised with an Island Paradise. The room was clean, I had a private bathroom, a fridge in my room, and Netflix. The common room was a shared kitchen with plenty of ice. Oh the room was as cold as you like it with a top notch wall a/c unit rated #1 on Amazon. The pool was so serene with so many beautiful orange flowers surrounding the crystal clean water, an outdoor shower and bathroom, and a gazebo area with hammock, barbeque grill, and plenty of chairs and tables. There was an interesting library of books and historic artifacts in the common area. I felt safe within the gated area and it was right in the heart of the real Trinadad. It was in walking distance to markets and pizza. I did decide to get a Papa John's pizza and Subway because I missed USA food and it tastes exactly the same. If you want to hop on a clean bus 3 blocks away and go anywhere, this is the ticket. Oh my girl Monisha and my Dr Ros the owner were on site and helped us out every day with travel plans and my requests were on point. He even put in handicap bar in shower the minute I mentioned it was a good idea for me. Blessed to have been at the Traum House. Thankful for the help and friendliness away from home. It was hot but not humid and the breeze was nice. It was bustling in and around town. This is the best pick for comfort and seeing the real Trinadad.

The greatest and most outstanding aspect of our stay at "Mountain Palace" was undoubtedly the warm hospitality extended by the hosts, Asha and Haresh. Their hospitality exceeded our expectations. From the moment we arrived, we felt at home, largely due to their warm welcome. They fully shared their private home with us, making us feel comfortable and welcomed. Asha and Haresh were incredibly helpful in arranging transportation, always ready to provide tips and suggestions. Additionally, they arranged airport pickup for us, which greatly facilitated our arrival. Their knowledge of Trinidad and the 2024 carnival was invaluable - thanks to them, we were able to fully enjoy our stay and the events on the island. I highly recommend "Mountain Palace" to anyone looking for not only comfortable accommodation but also an unforgettable experience thanks to the hospitality and care of the hosts.
