Lovely guesthouse - very new and clean with comfy beds. Owners are very sweet and it is a very authentic experience. They don't speak much English, but we got through with hand signals. Great breakfast included and the dinner as well (10 euros pp). It is towards the farther end of Valbona, so you do have a few kms to walk to get to the Theth trail. No wifi, but you get cell service. Excellent views.

Truly excellent hosts who made me feel comfortable and welcome. Delicious and generous breakfast. Delicious Albanian doughnuts, bread, honey and jam, eggs, cheese, tomatoes and cucumber, and mountain tea. This set me up perfectly for the day’s hike! Lovely, cozy room, which was modern and spotless. It is exactly as pictured. The private bathroom was also nice and very clean. Fabulous views from the front door of the mountains. I was generously given a lift to the trailhead to Theth - many thanks! Location was easily accessible from the main road - I was dropped off by a van transfer from Fierze and found the property really easily with the advice sent by the hosts on the day. Communication was great. Most importantly for me, I felt very safe at the property as a solo female traveller, especially given that the room itself locked with a key.

The staff was nice and helpful when providing useful information about the hike to Theth. The hotel has a dinner menu at 14€/person which is ok. Breakfast is good from which they let you pack whatever you want for 5€ if you’re doing the hike. Location is good if you’re hiking to Theth because it’s relatively close to the beginning and to the rest of the village as well. Views from the room are amazing!
